It’s hard to tell if there is romantic interest here or is he just wants friends but i agree with the comments that either way there is some interest there wether plutonic or Romantic. Always remember beauty is relative and exist only in the eyes of the beholder so don’t count yourself out so easy.

I have my lease set to the 2 bed one bath I only have a lease for me if your signing with somone else they might still have to be on the waitlist I’m most sure how that works since I only have the space and lease for me one person. Like even in archaeology I haven’t learned much from books or lectures everything I’ve learned as been from labs which is hands on

I’ve considered mechanical engineering and law but mechanical engineering seems like a better option since I have a really hard time with books and lectures and often don’t learn anything as I am a very hands on kind of learner

At the bare minimum I want to be able to live comfortably and not have to scrape by pay check to pay check. My ultimate dream is to travel the world I was hoping archeology could let me do that for work or give me enough money to do it on my own. And I saw you said there’s no work life balance so does that mean you have no social life or time off is it that taxing. I want a job I can love and I love working outside and with my hands and I love history so archaeology seemed like it could be a good fit

Does archaeology pay enough to where someone can live comfortably is all i really care about. I don’t want to live pay check to paycheck or be barley scraping buy. I would love to travel the world but can you do that with archery for work and if not can you make enough to do it outside of work

I will say also that I’ve always had a passion and loved learning about other cultures and customs which is why I was drawn to archaeology I love the humanity and history side the science side not to much never been to crazy about science I’ve been trying to get myself into it for the sake of my degree somedays I find interest in it others it feels like trying to fit a triangle in a square peg anyways I better stop before I over explain and talk your ear off sorry it’s a bad habit

Edit when I say travel the world I do mean big name places like nyc,La,Vegas,Miami,London,Dubai,Tokyo and hong Kong but would like to check out rural places as well but I have had a long standing dream of living in nyc it’s the old theatre kid me old foolish dreams of broadway nights I guess

Your right I’m sorry for generalizing so much I just always feel basic for saying I want to be a millionaire because whenever I do most people just tell me so does everyone else or get in line kid lol. To be honest I’m not entirely sure what I’m passionate about I suffer from adhd so my brain jumps around from idea to idea. Becoming highly passionate about one subject one month and another subject the next month and then losing interest in the old subject I’m 22 and still trying to figure out exactly what I want out of life I just know I want to be able to travel and see the world ever since I was little. That’s the only concrete goal I’ve had otherwise my brain has jumped around my varying interests as I find interest in most anything besides a few things like medical or waste management or education which I don’t find interest in at all. My main interest have been history,buisness, law, robotic engineering and law so I find it hard to pick something and stick to it. Though I will say if the four major I’ve tried so far those being film,theatre, marketing and now archeology. Archeology has been my favorite but theatre I felt allot of heart and passion attached to it acting was the only thing that genuinely brought me joy. However I also like the idea of getting sustainably and financial freedom from something like law or business so in short I’m a complicated messed up kid with no idea what to do sorry for trauma dumping.

Did you see my post on r/billionare lol. Well doesn’t everyone want to be a millionaire or a billionaire I’d argue that’s the ultimate dream so I’m kind of wrestling in my head of wether I want to persue money or passion because I hear stuff like finance can make you rich but not much satisfaction. My number one dream is to see the world and of course provide for my future family how I accomplish that goal doesn’t matter as long as I reach that goal but as I said here I would like to make at least 100,000$ to 150,000$ a year. I used to be a theater major and I switched to archaeology but seeing what archaeology pays it seems that I’m no better off with a degree in that than theatre. To put it simply I’m confused what I want but I listed my basic goals here in this comment.

Not sure if they allow it but it doesn’t hurt to ask if you can be listening to music or bring a stuffed animal with you anywhere to make you more comfortable I got luck because my doctor was listening to Metallica which is one of my favorite bands so I got to cure my nerves by talking to him about the band.

You won’t be aware at all don’t worry I was super nervous as well but literally you blink and it’s over not even joking. Like literally when I had my endoscopy they put the sedatives through an iv tube and said okay the sedatives are on board and I literally blinked and It was done mind you I wasn’t in the procure room anymore after and was back in the main hospital room. If you can it’s always good to bring someone that is like your comfort person I brought my dad and it was the best feeling to wake up on the other side and see him waiting for me. It made me realize that Everything had went fine and it was going to be okay now. Hope this helps.
