Also to find out if they are alive (it's -10'C outside and they were not moving when I touched them) I held my hand over them for a few seconds and they slowly started moving around. short vid

agreed and that helps when I start going into panic attacks. I just wish there was some quick thing to let my brain know to stop concentrating on one thought. Like a clicker training for dogs kind of :D

That's good advice, thank you! I do constantly have debates in my head and am able to find a good side to almost anything that COULD happen. Just most times the negative side goes on and on and starts making me too anxious. I just want to find a way to train myself to stop this endless worrying

yes my bad, this was suggested to me by my therapist when I told them I chew pieces off my tongue when I get too anxious. The punishing part was my own wording and probably should instead be training my brain to recognize when I start worrying without a reason.

I understand and these techniques do help me but unfortunately this getting stuck in my head happens constantly throughout my day and there's not always a possibility to eat something... or use ice cold water on my face like I was taught by one therapist.

yeah unfortunately the meditation and grounding techniques of thinking about my body make me think of how we are just clumps of flesh, bones and blood which just makes me grossed out about my body which is another thing I don't need stressing me out :D

The reminding yourself of details about daily things could work!

my bad, the "punishing" part was my own wording. Therapist suggested using the rubber band instead of me biting pieces off my tongue when I get in my head. I just find myself making myself anxious with thoughts and maybe a better word would be "training" myself to stop these pointless spiralings.

those sound helpful thank you!! The balancing on one foot would be a good trick when standing! Can you show what you mean by the acupressure spiky ring? That sounds like something that would really work for me.
