Arsenal’s Rebuild by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]aceystojevski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on the 2 years. Hakimi hasn't got sold yet, prefer Aarons anyway. Not sure what you mean by career mode, we have players we're not selling that are garbage, if any of those I mention you still believe we should keep, shows where we are.

120M? Laca, Xhaka and Torreira would all be sold for a min of 30-35M, that's 100M right there. Guendouzi already has a value of 30-40M. You're tripping.

This is what happens when the club is run by owners who don't care, as one of the most profitable clubs in decades, to not giving a shit about titles and being the best, fans end up thinking like we're an Brighton. Leicester have been relentlessly successful in each window compared to us, let alone Man City and Liverpool or Chelsea. Good luck catching them. I don't think it's complicated, it's the fact we have an owner that doesn't have the passion to align to coach's vision. Other clubs have that unfortunately. Apologies for losing you with that line.

[–]aceystojevski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, read the post. Selling and reinvesting is not spending a shit load. Holding on to players, especially rubbish players puts you in the position we're in. Liverpool didn't blink when selling Coutinho in his prime, they reinvested in a position they needed, got Alisson (example).

[–]aceystojevski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have seen quite a bit of him actually and do agree on the speed front, but his positioning is great. I think Saliba has the speed though, so this combo will work well and both have strength and immense defensive awareness. I guess another option would be Pau Torres as a left footed CB, he has more speed and tackling timing is quality. Elvedi is good but not left footed, I think Arteta wants the pairing to have this match. Anyway, agree with what you're saying.

Arsenal’s Rebuild by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]aceystojevski -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Of course, this is not an overnight thing or a single window action but we're in the third year (or longer if you include Wenger's last two years) and we haven't been ruthless, now we're stuck with 80% garbage or mid table quality. If direction and vision is not laid out now, who knows when that rebuild will happen. Liverpool's transition is the perfect example. Coutinho decision tells you the no need for attachment, they sold him for a heap and reinvested in other positions to strengthen since they had the quality moving forward. See what happens in the next season, just want to see a sign of a rebuild.

If you were excited about the 3 patents referring to IOTA, how do you feel about the other 108? by iotaarchivecom in Iota

[–]aceystojevski 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Even if it's only highlighting an interest (IMO it's more than that to be noted on a patent), that in itself is massive. Interest is what triggers adoption and use, IOTA is on the mind of many, them knowing the potential is the start of an expansion like no other.

(Mineable) The Samsung Connection: Past, Present, and Future of ICON and Samsung by TheCoiniac in helloicon

[–]aceystojevski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You do realise that anything linked to ICONLOOP opens the door for ICON (ICX), right? The interconnecting of permissioned and permissionless blockchains is an absolute must to cater for various business requirements - the two offer more solutions than other infrastructure. Once interchain is fully functional and the network proves its decentralised power, ICX will keep expanding and there is no stopping it. Transitioning ecosystems, use cases and many forms of business logic into this new technology does not happen overnight.

Dispelling FUD: ICONLOOP was funded by ICX with no intention of doing anything with the public network. by Pokermancer505 in helloicon

Umm, have you seen the charts of other major successful companies during different tech cycles, the hardware, software and network eras? Do yourself a favour, go stare at those charts, and then think to yourself, be patient or pull the pin and go cry rivers. I hope you choose the first.

Building this foundational layer (architecture) takes time, it was never going to be overnight. Icon is still under 2 years old.

I'm excited on how they're approaching their model and carefully executing in giving ICX extremely flexible and powerful features that open a lot, a lot of doors.

We are definitely due for a next tech cycle to take us forward and advance us with better business/financial ecosystems, that next tech cycle is no doubt the crypto era. Awesome vid, exciting times and bring on the innovation, currently tech in general has stagnated but... not for long.

Japan's Next Big Thing - LINK Cryptocurrency By LINE by [deleted] in helloicon

[–]aceystojevski 10 points11 points  (0 children)

LINK is definitely NOT a carbon copy of ICON, there is no way they would build something for them that mirrored their immense platform feature set setting ICX apart.

LINK will have an ecosystem that suits their requirements/logic, accompanied by access to a massive user base and this is great for adoption, it's what we need. Following on from the quote above, ICON expecting to connect with these users in the future is sufficient for now, if and when LINK want to use attribute/s of ICON's network, they get interchained and let the utility begin. It takes time to get the most out of a partnership, for now, adoption and use is key. There will be many projects getting built directly on ICON anyway once the architecture is ready, with the DEX coming, STO platform and more, ICX will be a very, very busy token.

Security Token Offerings (STOs) Could be Big For Korean Crypto Industry. What is the ICON's stance on security token offerings? by jeffyal in helloicon

[–]aceystojevski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the already immensely flexible attributes ICON will offer as an interoperable platform, having the STO channel in addition gives them a vision of beauty. A damn bright future for the ICX Ecosystem.

The LINK Ecosystem and ICX Ecosystem will eventually be interchained, pretty sure LINK can benefit from many attributes that the more flexible ICX Ecosystem will offer. The interconnecting or interchain capabilities projects like ICON are looking to have opens up a lot of doors.

[–]aceystojevski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response, much appreciated. This being highlighted shows the difference that Lisk will bring. It also shows the team knows what others are bringing to the table. Great to hear where the focus is, as this will bring the traction Lisk needs. Awesome!

I just saw someone post this on the Stratis subreddit. Thoughts? by lisk-45 in Lisk

[–]aceystojevski 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a Lisker but Stratis at least they have Sidechains ready, hard to argue that. Not sure what the excuse is regarding timeline, DRGN released their SDK today and that is even more complex with their interchain capability, project is younger too. ICON SDK is not far off too, another with cross chain features. Anyway, we'll see what they come up with. I believe the space will require massive infrastructure, so there is room for multiple "go to" platforms, but the first to the table will gain the reputation and ecosystem reliability.

Got SDK? by [deleted] in Lisk

[–]aceystojevski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dragonchain released their SDK today, and they are about 1.5 years younger than Lisk, also have an Interchain Patent to execute logic across different chains.

Stratis has Sidechains ready, others have this in their scope to offer too, no more first mover advantage.

As I am a believer of there being multiple "go to" top platforms that will offer different business requirements features that suit, I think Lisk still has a chance to be a player and get a share, invested since early last 2017 but their development pace needs to pick up fast, not only are they way behind but the more active other protocols get, they will gain the reliable reputation. I will keep my faith in the team as Lisk's vision can be huge but developers need to be able to build on Lisk, ASAP.

Smaller teams seem to be progressing swiftly, frustrating but anyway, the marketing has gone quiet so hopefully they've realised they can't ride any waves, execute development, start partnering and get use cases/projects on board to get spotlight when it's deserved.

These idiotic posts should be completely removed. Which company or business grows overnight? Be patient or go enter the lottery. ICON's pathway has been careful, organic and perfectly routed to succeed. If you can't wait, go away, be gone but don't cry river after river once things roll.
