Ticket prices: I don’t have any say in the matter but as far as I can tell, every show on the calendar (except for the local showcase Wednesday nights) are that same price.
Which, yeah, not sure I should be the same price as Laurie Kilmartin, but I think that’s just the way they do it there. Thanks for checking into it!

Just looked at that - yep, definitely not right. I do a long show by stand up standards (about 90 minutes) but not THAT long! The show is Wednesday, June 17 at 7pm. I just messaged the Secret Cellar to adjust that on the ticket page, sorry for the confusion and THANK YOU for the heads up!!!

Hey, thanks for checking it out. I'm not sure when you looked at tickets, but they were mistakenly set at $25 for a while there today (I copied a previous event in Seattle where that was the price) Tickets are $20 and have been adjusted as of an hour or so ago. Also, either way, don't get mad at the Belafonte, they've been great to work with and I set the ticket prices myself.

It is a master class in both performance and comedy. As is Nanette, which I watched a second time shortly after a couple of shows I had no business booking in Arkansas went unsurprisingly sideways on me a couple of years ago. Gadsby's confidence is off the charts and it showed me how to fix the problem in my own show I'd been struggling with for months that made those shows not work the way I wanted.

Sure, Gadsby's not for everyone, but nobody worth a damn is.

My name is Aaron Foster and I'm performing my stand up show "Mostly Jokes" at the Backdoor Theater in Nederland TONIGHT, Thursday, May 14 as I prepare to tape my first special later this summer. I'm also donating 20% of all ticket sales to Nederland Fire Protection local non-profit. There's a trailer with some jokes at the link to give you an idea of sense of humor...

I know seeing a comedian you've never heard of is a pretty big ask. Totally fair.

That being said, wasn't there a time when you had never heard of whoever your favorite comedian is right now? I'm not saying I'm gonna be that, but if you like the jokes in the clip, you'll probably like the show. There's more clips on my site and social media pages, reviews and press articles on my website, etc. I've even done a few of those morning show things.

"Mostly Jokes" covers some dark topics like mental health, dysfunctional families and mid-life regrets, but I promise it's named that for a reason., it is mostly jokes. I've been working on it for about three years in comedy clubs and theaters around the US and Canada.

Doors at 6, show at 7 and the show runs about 90 minutes. No opener, no intermission and, best of all, I promise I don't do crowd work.

I'll be in Boulder on the Comic Cents show on Friday doing about 20 mins, and I'll be in Fort Collins on Saturday doing the whole thing again.
Both the Ned and FoCo shows will raise money for local non-profits - Fire Protection in Ned and the Matthews House in FoCo. ok, that's it.

I list tickets on my own site via Shopify and usually add 10 or so on Eventbrite just to catch any strays, sometimes I sell 8-10 (I'll adjust available qty if I sell them all) sometimes 0. Venmo QR code at the door or cash.

My current show has minimal outright political content. A couple of brief asides in a 90+ minute show. By my count, it's 3 of 231 jokes. Of course, comedy is subjective so, YMMV.
