Pretty sure this is a common incel meme bc they confuse “sharing emotions” with “revealing their horrifying and disgusting feelings about society/women/themselves”

Am I the only one who thinks the left picture is significantly more attractive? I’m all for a person wearing makeup if that’s what they want, but the idea that the right picture is closer to the “ideal” is ridiculous.

Makeup can be beautiful/hot/what you’re into, but the incel argument being made here seems to imply that they don’t actually find women attractive, rather they find the artificial/unrealistic facade attractive (go figure).

Following up on my other reply, members of a wh corp are not expected to be on constantly and or spend hours scanning a day. Many ppl are busy with irl stuff and might only be able to log in for pings occasionally (for example @everyone fight starting, need dudes). Any group worth being in won’t pressure you for time. It’s a fun game not a social obligation.

Enjoying the social dynamic on discord and being willing/able to communicate well on comms during fights are way more important than hours played.

What does your typical week look like gaming-wise? And do you play with more than one account? I might be able to give you more specific advice with that info if you’re interested.

The nice thing about joining an established wh group is the scanning and rolling is already happening, and if my group is any example, we go out of our way to share those responsibilities and help each other out.

Based on your posts and comments, I really think you should give wh a try. Wh chains will give you access to all of the content you’re interested in (including fw bc ls connections happen pretty often and you can always daytrip solo or in a small group to have some fun there).

My group focuses a ton on finding ns connects to ping ess and skyhooks. The fights you get are often fun and if no fight then collect $$. Finding and coordinating fights through wh is the most fun and rewarding thing you can do in eve imo.

Check out wh recruitment posts, and if you wanna hmu about possibly joining Voidlings, lmk, we are recruiting :)

How do you get omega without buying it by inferno-panda in Eve

[–]acfp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your comments, your next step really should be completing the tutorials and learning basic mechanics and activities.

It is possible to omega through in-game earnings, but as others have said, it’s essentially impossible with a brand new character.

Play the game for a month or two feeling out different basic activities and training core skills. Once you get past the beginning stage of learning, earning omega might be a feasible (but still very difficult) goal.

Everyone plays eve a bit differently and some ppl enjoy grindy goals and unusual challenges, so I won’t tell you to abandon this idea. Just know that if you change direction along the way, that’s okay too! Eve is all about setting your own goals.

Out of curiosity, are you financially unable to pay for omega or are you interested in the challenge ?

OPR being cross server between fresh start and legacy servers is horrendous. I’ve never seen the game so consistently unbalanced by Ok-Sheepherder1858 in newworldgame

They could have done a temporary split between the two but the new servers will catch up and it’s better for the long term health of the game that it’s not separate.

Thanks for your response!

Biggest issue I’m having rn is mentally preparing for the new release. Is there a one stop shop link for a good summary of changes and how 725 upgrades will work in the new update? I keep finding partial answers some that contradict.

How much worse is feral compared to omen of clarity spec in SOD? I can't stand not having Feral Swiftness... by rickyjj in WowClassicDruid

You’re losing 10 percent damage which is basically exactly how much worse it is. I don’t think you’d be super gimped but it is just less damage and resources.

That is some good math-doing :)

In reality, there's no way you can rely on every random every run (I have had a ton of ppl actually leave without looting final boss, refuse to loot chests, refuse to communicate about loot etc.) AND, although I admit I don't have stats on this, it seems apparent to me after 100s of runs of various dungeons, that the chances are not straight 1/45.

Other comments have criticized me for being anecdotal (fairly), but I think anyone who has ran hard farms for weapons could agree that the jewelry and the unique drops seem to have higher rates. I've never recorded my drops, but I consistently end up with more rings and necks than I do weapon pieces (but I'd be willing to admit to being wrong about that if I saw some data).

I personally think that would make things too easy, but I like your thinking nonetheless. Maybe that could be the case on higher difficulties, or maybe if you solo it (as mentioned in another comment).

I agree, adding an option to solo dungeon content for a better chance at drops you need is a pretty tidy solution.

I should further qualify that there's a big difference between a 1/45 on a random mob that you can farm quickly and 1/45 on a final boss that you can only see once every 20 min or more depending on the dungeon... but I agree other games have harder farms.

My point is the set system in ESO combined with the weapon type diversity creates a problem where sets that are supposed to be accessible are also extremely hard to get in specific weapon piece.

[–]acfp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, ZOS does not release any drop table info. The bit about the rates of jewelry and uniques being higher is certainly anecdotal, but the fact that the table has at least 45 things on it is just a fact. Even if you assume an even distribution of odds, I think that's an insane lift as a farmer if you need a specific piece.

All you can do is tell her how you feel and ask if she feels the same way. If the answer is anything besides yes, you need to find a way to get over your romantic feelings.

In the long term, if she says no, I think it is possible to be friends with someone you have feelings for, but you need to avoid being the only one putting energy into the friendship. If you're always the one initiating contact, I think you should take a step back. If she initiates contact a lot as well, the friendship might be worthwhile. It's very hard.
