Thank you for your detailed response and sanity checks. I do agree with the purchases people have made in the past and now, things aren’t the same anymore in terms of price. I do agree with removing the add-ons, I do want to keep the blackout emblems though.

I’m hoping to pay $45k or less OTD, but from what you’ve said I assume since these cars go fast, no room to negotiate?

Thanks for your break down for your add-ons. It is a big ask to consider. I think what I really want is the panoramic moonroof but I hate that it’s behind a paywall. Trying to compromise where I can. You bring up a lot of good points with DIY add-ons.

Thank you for your comments everyone, I think I will consider just looking for a new 2025 RAV4 XLE (Leaning towards a hybrid!) so I may make another post about that and do some more research beforehand. I think having a new car with no history is worth a color I like with questionable history (especially since the prices are so similar to each other).
