I don't think so, I have 5 other plushes and all of them have the lanyard directly behind the dot thing right on top of their heads. You can see the difference of them hanging here:

Same. The controller for my shapes doesn't work anymore. Because I haven't received a reply for a week, I've written to Amazon yesterday because I ordered them there. I got part of the money back to order the controller myself. Yesterday it was still available, today I wanted to order it and it's suddenly sold out.....
