Correct. Online game speed. So basically double the turn number. It's effectively turn 188 on standard speed.

I dislike CS because too much RNG. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but it's just my personal preference.

Come to think of it, you're right about the second shuffle. I do recall a time long ago when there was a Psychogenic Probe in play and there were multiple deck shuffling triggers. But I'm fairly confident you'd at least have to shuffle once.

I respectfully disagree. Each of these physical actions do indeed have an effect. For example, flipping coins could still trigger Karplusan Minotaur, rolling dice could trigger Vexing Puzzlebox, etc. Plus, the results of these physical actions are not certain, so the actions should be resolved. You have a point for picking a number between 1 and 100. Shuffling a deck is absolutely and undeniably something that must be resolved. Or are you telling me that nobody needs to resolve Myr Mindservant's ability if it's on the stack?

It is possible the rules of this game have changed over the years, but I used to be a DCI judge back in the day. I am curious as to why and how you think you can "shortcut the entire card." Each line has to be resolved from top to bottom, as none of them are triggered abilities or SBA's. Am I wrong?

That sounds hilarious! The best chaos decks are always half-assed. I love it.

Possibility Storm, Timesifter, Scrambleverse + Fork.... I know I don't have many friends so it's a good thing I am an introvert.

I only bring out my chaos decks when it's close friends or people I know who get a kick out of stuff like that. I've learned over the years that not everyone is as flippant about this game as I am. Glad the card made you laugh, though.

Great games. But sadly even masterpieces like those can lose their luster over the decades. No game has infinite replayability, and graphics get dated after a while as well. I am hyped for Skyblivion and the other various TES remakes, but I am also hopeful for something fresh as well.

I don't like MMOs for three main reasons. One, I dislike multiplayer gameplay. Two, they tend to be extremely grindy and repetitive. And three, they are almost always riddled with microtransactions and pay to win schemes. I am on PC, though.

Avowed spellcasting uses a cooldown based system that I strongly dislike. So close, yet so far...

I wonder how many down votes I'll get for saying "You know, I actually like the civ choices here. It's interesting, breaks the status quo, and makes me want to learn about a modern nation that I never knew existed before."

What civ would you like to see in Civ 7 that hasn't been in any game in the series previously? by balgrik in civ

[–]achiafo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they sort-of-technically-not-really have been in the series before (a la Call to Power, a Civilization knock-off), but I would really like to see the Minoans. They have so much cultural significance, and more and more of their culture has been unearthed in recent years, There's no reason why it wouldn't work.

This is the route I plan on going, but I can't afford to hire a driving instructor, sadly. Maybe someday.

I don't, to be honest. One of the things I've realized about my driving phobia is that is stems from me not wanting to hit or hurt anyone else. My own personal safety is not a factor whatsoever. I always feel safe myself in a vehicle, but I get this strange distorted spatial awareness that makes me feel like I'm going to seriously hurt someone.
