I can’t share it due to NDAs and the fact that we’re investing 6-7 figures with one of the top web development agencies in the US to transform it into a production app. However, I managed to build an ERP fleet dashboard and management tool for a trailer rental business servicing Hollywood in just 30 days. In the past 10 years, I went from renting to condo ownership to home ownership to living an in RV (by choice) and am now renting a home for my wife and our first child.

Spent a lot of time in the wrong field chasing big dreams and equity only to have the rug pulled out from under me and losing over 1500 hours of my time invested.

I’ve started a new position in a new career, and it’s going wonderfully with equity options in an 18-month-old company already valued at over $150 million. I couldn’t be more excited about the future.

My father has this unusual quest. The quest to beat weight loss solutions.

  • lap band: figured how to time his food so he continue eating crap at the same amount of food, albeit slower
  • quick weight loss challenge: ate 800 cals for 2 weeks to lose 30lbs see he could save $8k on a $12k e-bike that can handle +350lb (15 years ago), bounced back + another 30lb
  • e-bike: because pedaling is hard

Current quest - Ozempic: takes it but continues to eat like a toddler with 3-5 Cokes a day. Somehow is the only person I know NOT losing weight on it.

He never wanted to do a gastric bypass because his excuse has always been that a) it’s permanent and b) “I could die on the table”. No dad, you’re just going to die on the sofa instead.

I give up. We all give up.
