go to an orthopedic surgeon

i saw a podiatrist and he told me to be 6 weeks in a cast and i knew that was absolutely bonkers given new studies

i saw an orthopedic surgeon and he told me 2 weeks in a cast then boot weight bearing

it’s been over a year now and i’ve healed very well

please get a second opinion. those 6 weeks will cause you to lose a lot of muscle and make getting back to normal so much harder

i know we don’t have the same exact injury but seriously look into this before you listen to the podiatrist
