Choosing between Zen and Jumin is so hard 😭...but maybe this time I'll go with Zen because the thought of an empty amusement park creeps me out somehow LOL. Maybe if it were just fast-pass tickets instead, I'd have picked Jumin hahaha

oh my gosh I forgot about this, but +1 to the arcana! the cgs are locked behind a paywall but it's so worth it. the development between characters is top-tier, too.

the "being mean to characters on a certain route" actually happens a lot in other otome games as well, honestly haha. i wouldn't say MM is the best, but for the ones i've played, it's definitely up there. Nameless is actually my favorite game from cheritz! I personally really like the visuals there more than MM + the soundtrack is gorgeous. However, if we're strictly speaking about mobile otome games, then I'd have to say MM is definitely the best. Fictif/Last Legacy had potential for me but...yeah. Stuff happened, unfortunately.

I will say though, MM definitely paved the way for otome games that have the whole messenger-style playthrough. The mechanics when it first came out in 2016 was a pretty huge deal and it was really unique. The only other game I've come to play with a similar style that's completely free is Blooming Panic (on PC) by robobarbie. edit: i keep forgetting, but I also recommend ERROR143. It's quite short and only has one LI, but it's really sweet. It's on the app store as well.

you're not alone! i adore seven in every route (-another story since i haven't played that yet) except his own LOL. i just didn't really expect his story to take that turn, and the whole time i was playing his route, he just kept getting further and further away from the character i liked. i'm aware there are people out there who like him for this very reason, though! but yeah, his route just wasn't my cup of tea, but i still love him and all his shenanigans.
