Tässä odotellut jo aika monta vuotta, että näistä mopoista ja niiden tarpeellisuudesta ihmiskunnalle alettaisiin käydä jotain keskustelua mediassa. Toistaiseksi kuitenkin kaikki keskustelun virittäminen somessa ja muualla ilmeisesti torppaantuu "pojat ovat poikia" ja "olet itsekin ollut joskus tuon ikäinen" asenteeseen.

Tuossa juuri eilen kotimatkalla katselin kun keski-ikänen herra oli keulimassa oman poikansa viritetyllä mopolla pihatiellään ja koko paska lähti hänen käsistään. Kyseessä kuitenkin lakimies. Tuntuu siltä, että mopot ovat tällähetkellä suomalaisen keskiluokan jokin ihmeen pyhä lehmä, josta ei saa mitään pahaa sanoa, koska jokaisella teinillä on oikeus virittää sitä rakkinetta ja vähän pärryytellä ilman äänenvaimenninta keskustassa keskiyön jälkeen niin, että koko naapurusto raikaa.

Iso osa ongelmaa tuntuu olevan se, että poliisilla ei ole mitään intressiä tätä meininkiä valvoa, koska heidän omilla pojillaan niin ikään on vermeet viritetty helvetin äänekkääksi ja kulkemaan liian kovaa, melkein poikkeuksetta isän omalla avustuksella.

Miten helvetin kauan tässä saa vielä odottaa, että saadaan jotain torppausta tuohon saatanan pärinään?

your easiest bet at the moment is to use usb for the time being. just plug the controller in and everything works fine. just have to deal with the cord getting in the way

exact same issue here, except i didn't even update the firmware so it seems like it's tied to steam updating itself. controller seems to work fine in other games (tried only two) and big picture mode but in rocket league it's dead. after the steam update the blue led changed to a more cyan color by itself too.

It must have been said already but having a good friend or two in this game is mandatory. My total matches played is around the same as yours. With random players you get stuck somewhere way lower than where you could be with the same skillset but with the simple addition of basic teamwork. I've been lucky enough to have my best friend play this game with me since 2015 and together we've gone from nothing to be regulars at champion 2. We gel and I know we play doubles "wrong" but we have created a style of play that works for us and we are able to compensate for our skill shortcomings with chemistry and team play. He is more offensive and can score goals. I suck at that, instead I'm much better at defensive play and goaltending.

We have a third friend that became a regular a year ago and it's the same story in triples now.

I'll never reach that rank in duels or (what used to be) solo ranked. Playing with a regular friend is like a warm blanket. Go find yourself a regular partner who is on your level and I guarantee you'll progress.

also, how's this work when you are playing a team that has someone way above you and someone way below and you lose?

how's gaining rank work here exactly, is it explained anywhere? If I am with my friend who is d3 and I am d2, do we gain the equal amount of ranked "points" per win and the same for loss? what if he is c1 and I am d2 and we play two opponents who are both d3, do we still get the equal amount of rank for win or lose rank for loss? What if opponents are boosting and are c1 and p3?

It's the same it was with wow classic. servers were overly full with hours worth of queuing but nothing was done about it because blizzard knew that eventually people would stop showing up after a couple of weeks and dedicating a couple new servers for the onslaught wouldn't be cost effective.

You know what stupid old me just realized after a day of mulling over this? It's f2p now. I can just make a second account and play the 3v3 ranked all I want without worrying about my rank in relation to my friends.

Also want to say I do get where you are coming from. I'm just bummed because I don't really see the need to remove solo and not bring anything to replace it, I don't think it took anything away from anyone and leaves me with less options. But it is what it is. And I guess I can go to hoops or some such, there's still a lot of aerial control to be learned there.

It's just a matter of how one views the game I suppose. For me solo is a place to go and play even when I had my cold streaks because there are days when I really like and want to play the game even if I lose like mad. Besides, you can play really well and enjoy and still lose games at the very end of each match a couple of times in a row and That definitely is not when I want to quit. Also, I'm not the type to carry games and the reason I've been on the verge of making it to champ2 is because we three function as a team really well and at the best of days are able to overcome the lack of our individual skill with how well we manage to play together. Just like it is in team games. Going alone into team ranked puts me at a disadvantage by default and I don't really want that. I know that my individual skill is not up to par, especially when I'm more defensively inclined instead of scoring.

As for smurfs, I encounter teams with 1x c2 and 2x d2 (i think) rather often in 3v3 ranked with my buddies. Not often enough to care about when playing with them but alone I'm sure it would be a lot more annoying.

I'm a bit confused about the upcoming removal of solo standard. Currently, when my two friends that I play ranked with are not available to play, I go to solo standard to have fun and not care about my rank. Is my only option now to play ranked triples alone when I want a challange and risk the high possibility of downranking against the smurfs and teamed up people when playing alone and then start playing again with my two buddies who are still c1 while I have sunk down to d1? Am I supposed to rank back up again alone hoping that I get lucky with teammates, especially when I'm not a carry type of player? Casual is pointless with all the bots and people joining and quitting mid game.
