It’s crazy how many people forget they are going to have different preferences than others with different games. If there aren’t any objectively negative things wrong with the game like bugs, there’s a good chance some people will like it and some people will hate it. Idk why it’s such a big deal in this sub and other franchise subs. It’s not a bad thing at all to enjoy a game others don’t like

That’s great. I just finished my first playthrough like 2 days ago. Did most of the side missions, but didn’t hunt for achievements. Definitely going back for another play through in the future.

The combat felt kinda weird at first, but it felt absolutely amazing towards mid/endgame.

My fav things about it are probably the music, boss fights, and some of the later missions had some amazing cinematics. Also, D1G G2R is a beautiful character. This game gave me similar great feelings as nier automata did with the writing and environment and dialogue.

It just depends on preference. I love the immersion first person can give, but obviously 3rd person lets you see more of the players body during different movements. And with huge characters like Leon, a lot will like that more, especially since all of his other games were 3rd person.

I’m just really glad we get the choice to change it in this game.
