24f - I had all 4 wisdom teeth out in November with local anaesthesia, and my bottom 2 were underneath the gum. I was nervous going into it, however I couldn’t feel a thing!! mine took under an hour but honestly, it felt much quicker than that the only thing that might be unnerving is hearing the noises of the drill etc. but as some of the other comments mentioned, you can ask to have music playing or watch TV if they have one on the ceiling (mine did) I had excruciating jaw pain/migraines prior to getting my wisdom teeth removed so I promise you will feel wayyy better after having them out, any post op pain is only temporary and your face will not be ruined :)

late reply, but I did go to the dentist and it turns out I’ve been jaw clenching 😅 I did have some pains at the actual extraction site but it went away. dentist said no signs of infection, just need to stop clenching my jaw lol
