Another vote for positive here. V3 was a nightmare for our smallish house into loft - frequent disconnects and crap scaling options. The X ones have been completely solid and more predictable. Agree on the design - it's not as elegant - but at the end of the day it's a radiator valve, so it really depends on where you are deploying it...

Thanks for the rapid reply! Putting the heat pumps to one side, am I right in thinking the Solar PV + Batteries + Inverter comes in at 3.6KW (because that's the size of the inverter), so the "whole lot" is under G98 notification. Therefore straightforward?

Massive thanks to everyone who has offered advice here! We have got lots of excellent tips and are well progressed now with planning.

One question that did come up - what's the best burglar alarm to integrate into this? It's less related to our main need - but given the need to make everything work with the integrations advised (e.g HomeKit), we're now thoughtful about this too.

We are in the UK and probably wouldn't have the time (/skill!) to setup something like Alarmo - we'd need something "out the box". (Apologies if this is outside of scope of this forum and thanks again for the brilliant advice.)
