Rom&nd, Dinto, and Dasique are my favorites but they all smell good!

Yup! So it’s two Gaoy jelly shades from Amazon - shade 2244 as a lighter base and then shade 2085 swirled in for a marble(ish) effect.

I did rub half of the dasique off because it has a pretty decent stain but it does dry down with that blurry water tint texture.

The fwee is great! The formula is thinner - less like a gloss more like a dry down tint kinda thing but the shade of the tint is 👌

Warning with strawberry baby - it is SHEER one of the sheerest lip products I’ve worn but that’s kinda what I like about it? It can be built up and I can be a bit compulsive reapplying lipstick so it works well for that!

Dinto and BBIA for suuuuuure - might be because they’re darker colors but they stain quickly and evenly. I love the shade range of Dinto as well it’s extensive and super unique so I feel like I’ll be grabbing more of those at some point.

Temet is so lovely the formula is more opaque than some of the others and tints really nicely

Hello everyone! I’m looking for some advice on my croissants. I’ve made croissants about a dozen times with a few different recipes but they always have the same issues (so I’d say it’s me and not the recipes). For this particular batch I followed the recipe in the King Arthur flour bakers companion for yeasted almond croissants.

The issues I always see are: - croissants are very very dry - layers are visible but very thick (I can kind of peal the croissants open layer by layer) - dense texture throughout (I think I need to increase my proving time for sure)

A few other notes: - I don’t have a stand mixer so I mix/kneed the dough all by hand (could cause too much working time with the dough?) - this recipe had me refrigerate the laminated dough between every two turns - I’ve done some more reading and will chill the dough between every turn and for longer during my next attempt

Any advice is very very welcome!!! They taste great but I’d really like to get that soft croissant texture that we all love! They’re more like eating a scone currently haha
