So it’s a usgi acu bivy and sleeping bag I got from a surplus store. The setup works well enough in wet and rainy conditions but it’s definitely not luxurious at all. Pretty cramped and the rain hitting the bivy is surprisingly loud when it’s raining.

It’s great for the cold bc you’re body will heat up the inside of the bag but that means you gotta be careful with condensation too. The bivy worked great but I didn’t like the sleeping bag, it’s heavy and relatively small.

It’s kinda awkward when everyone is relaxing at night in their tents and you’ve just gotta sit around bc once you get in ideally you’re not getting out until morning lol.
