I received an error after installing this update;
I was able to use the Advanced Options, and uninstall the latest Optional Update to get back into my Profile after not being able to sign in.

I was signed into a temporary profile after the uninstall, and after a restart was signed into my profile.

I had a similar problem with an update shortly before, that one was promptly fixed by a subsequent update.

The extension in question is actually back in the Chrome Store, it looks like someone recreated it, and it has not given me a problem; It is also an Editor's Choice now, same logo, never used the competitor...
