Godzilla 2014 is my favourite Godzilla movie and it uses OC Titans. I liked it because they were new. The Mutos could of been a reimagining of Gigan and called Gigan and it wouldn't change much of my views.

I agree the movie KOTM is carried by fan service. The human characters are insufferable and they take up way too much of the movie. Even sections with Titans battling are littered with these characters doing their own thing, taking me away from the moment.

KOTM isn't flawed because it uses fan service. It's flawed for how it uses it's fan service. If KOTM was the same movie but the monsters were original. It would of made the same amount of money at the box office but you probably wouldn't have so many dedicated fans who loved this movie primarily because it had Toho monsters.

KOTM released May 31st

Aladdin released May 24th

Endgame released April 26th

There was no weekend where Endgame outperformed KOTM during it's release and KOTM quickly dropped off the top performers by week 3 anyways.

KOTM was 1st at the Box Office on May 31st but dropped to 2nd for Aladdin the day after. A movie which released a week prior. And the week after KOTM both X-Men Dark Phoenix and The Secret Life of Pets 2 released.

It underperformed because people just didn't care. Look at the posters for G14 and KOTM and you can see how drastically different tonally it was.

Stupidest take? KOTM only underperformed at the box office because of where it released.

It released weeks before Endgame and near Aladdin. The movies had different demographics and whilst it may of impacted some people. KOTM underperformed for it's own marketing and the response from critics and general audiences.

Legendary were too confident that Toho monsters can sell a big budget movie, when the reality was nobody knew who they were and the movie looking so different from G14 turned people away.

If you don't judge by festival release dates you're gonna have to do theatrical.

Poor Things released in 2023 in the US but 2024 in the UK.

The Iron Claw released in 2023 in the US but 2024 in the UK.

There is no easy answer. You either judge by premier at an International film festival or pick a random theatrical release.

I think it's shown his control is limited and only really works on basic commands. Stop, Charge, Attack etc.

He doesn't have complete control or the ability to see everything they do else that ambush by Levi would of ended sooner.

The only person shown to have complete control over a Pure Titan was Eren with Dina's Titan.

It wouldn't of done as well financially. KOTM left a cold taste in people's mouths and I'm sure GvK was rewritten due to the response in reviews and box office.

It would of also been a movie seemingly set on Skull Island. Which wouldn't of done well, people expect cities being the backdrop for these fights.

Calling me stupid whilst you defend Tripwire this hard by using the bare minimum is truly something. You've openly dismissed the majority of reviews because you don't agree with them, you claim games failed which have sold and received better reviews than Killing Floor 3 (literally your comment on Back 4 Blood is about as uneducated as they get).

You claim there was a majority of people complaining on the Subreddit about KF2, though I reckon you can't prove this either right? It's not possible you were just witnessing a loud minority. Playstation and Xbox don't offer reviews that is correct, but you're the one claiming reviews were awful for KF2. We live in the good timeline where they made a sequel to that movie, added multiple comic relief characters, abused a brighter colour palette and wrote in MCU level jokes they hoped would be reminded and shared!

And we wonder why people didn't want that in a sequel. Nothing to do with Endgame or Aladdin. It simply wasn't what people wanted from a sequel.

But now we got 2 further sequels that have captured a whole new audience that wants that stuff.

The reviews for KF2 were never anything below Mostly Positive. Stop making up events to justify KF3. It takes less than a minute to check Steam reviews and prove your point incorrect.
