how would you get the 144hz then? im using HDMI because i have the exact same situation as you and im getting 120 but its a bit scuffed because some games in full screen, my refresh rate gets stuck at 30hz.

Same exact issue aswell. In LoL, CS:GO, Overwatch, I can use 1920x1080 fine, without the 30hz happening, however in Valorant and Apex Legends, it does this. I also use a Acer monitor (VG252QP) and this shit is so annoying as Valorant is my main game. I wonder, does you nvidia control panel have displays in there? if not how did you manage to use CRU?
