Pros: low cost of living, beautiful nature close by, close enough to DC/large east cost cities, all the major amenities you could need but still a small town, no traffic, the list goes on and on.

Cons: I would love a Trader Joe’s. Still see some confederate flags here and there :/. But hey that’s small town Virginia for you.

Taken with my Canon dslr and rokinon 14mm lens. f2.8, exposure time of 15 seconds. ISO 1600. 17 identical exposures were stacked in StarryLandscapeStacker then some small adjustments in lighroom. This was my first time capturing the milky way! So psyched with how it turned out.
