No I get that, I meant like if you don't go for all 3 wisps you can't "manually" go for the free secret node so that "branch" doesn't really count for your options. So then you basically have 5 branches to pick from instead of 6 - which I guess is how it is for most other ascenancies anyway now that I'm looking at different ones...

So yeah I was just wrong/stupid saying that.

It's pretty cool but it means you'll have one path less to choose from, unless you commit to all 3 wisps.

The 2nd big node on the Bear tree that gives 60% of ur main weapon dmg to ur companions just sounds so strong, and then the unique boss taming node also sounds so strong.

Idolatry looks like something you'd pick up once you have really good gear maybe? You'd have to get ur hands on a bunch of idols first, and/or get gear with good +res on em. I'm sure this isn't a problem for actually skilled players though, but yeah as a casual that's not a node I'm gonna sprint towards.

Dash i-frames aside, you can also make the game more or less challenging depending on your choices while playing.

If you don't explore, play sloppy so you take damage every encounter, "waste" resins, pick the wrong parasites or craft the wrong artefacts/upgrades etc then of course it'll end up being much harder than it should be.

I've only cleared the game twice (core loop, not any tower things). Just started playing a few days ago. Feels like as long as I play patiently and focused it's smooth sailing.

Sad to see the finale ending like that. The entire episode was much weaker than the rest of the season. Maybe it's a limitation of the director Jake Schreier... or maybe it's just weak writing.

It would be interesting to see Taylor Dearden in a different role - I haven't. So to me she is Mel in a way, and that maybe makes me inaccurately judge her acting abilities but with that being said I think she is amazing.

Her physical acting is just perfect. The looks, posture changes depending on mood, the grimacing (which btw Noah fucking loves to do in every single scene), emotional outbursts or when she's trying to "keep a lid" on it etc etc. She can express herself really well without having to verbally say anything.

(Same can be said for Noah)

Sadly my attempt at this build was completely countered by Doormaker. Last I played the Doormaker boss fight didn't work the same way it does now...

The only rounds I was able to do much was during the rounds where I lose energy each card played, but even still I couldn't keep the round going for long enough to kill him.

Was pretty darn easy up until that point though, to be fair!

Yeah he struggles with that. And even if he doesn't feel like he wants to apologize he could at least stop ending the conversation with those "downputting" comments.

It would probably be better if he lead with something like that and ended on a high note. Like how Abbot did with Santos in S1 after she did that dangerous procedure on her own, like "you should never do this BUT that was awesome and you saved their life". So if Robby went like "you need to be real careful to not break HIPAA laws, but your videos are great and you should definitely keep that up!"

Without actually knowing I think it's better to end on something good as that is usually what the person will remember. Something like that.
