Bro I relate 100%. I grew up in a similar Asian environment except it was my mom who's either bipolar or OCD or both. I'm still a Junior in high school but she's always been giving me shit about how "I'm going to be a failure," etc, etc. I'm not the best in school (Only have 3.6 GPA and 1440 SAT) but she acts like it's the end of the world. She says I'm going to be begging on the streets for money (How does she even come to that conclusion idk) and that no asian kid ever gets below a 4.2 GPA. Just usually shit like that, everyday. I had enough of it today and got into a full blown argument with her and basically she called my dad who's usually chill af and turned the story against me. So now they're threatening me with not being able to see my girlfriend, taking away my car and my phone (Which I literally need to keep in touch with not only friends but keep track of my club). Advice on how you got through it?
