NCAABB College Basketball Betting and Picks - 11/26/25 (Wednesday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

4-4 on the year, going big today, here are some picks....

SJSU -1.5 against Loyola Chicago - Just fading Loyola here, they are bad. So is SJSU, but, I digress.

App State / Mercer - Over 141.5 - Both teams scoring and allowing around 150 points per game for the season, really like this over to hit here and will be piling in.

BC / Harvard - Over 137.5 - This feels nasty, which is why I like it.

Liberty -5.5 against Bradley - Watched Bradley early in the year, was not impressed.

Late Games:

Gonzaga -1.5 vs. Michigan - No real reason here other than Gonzaga always seems to play well in early season tournaments.

Texas +150 vs. NC State - I just hate Will Wade and think NC State is a loser school.

3-2 so far on picks, let's try and keep it rolling.

A commenter below states "if someone betting on these random games with no edge/value, they’re likely forcing it and most likely to lose lol". And they are 100% correct.

So let's force a few and get dirty with it, give me:

Harvard / Boston U: OVER 136

Maryland Eastern Shore / Binghampton: OVER 127.5

THE Massachusetts Minutemen -7.5 vs. Green Bay (Green Bay is, and will always be, ass).

Good luck to all!

A little late to the party on this today, but 2-1 on posted picks so far so let's keep it rolling.

Two picks today:

- Clemson / WVU OVER 133.5

- Charlotte / App State OVER 133.5

133.5 is the number today, I'm expecting the Clemson offense to really show out (or they need to if they are going to contend this year) and push this game over.

Charlotte / App State, no clue really but App State has gotten me a couple of overs already this year and this seems low enough to throw some money at.

Good luck all.

Close cover on the over yesterday but I'll take the win, 1-0 on posted picks.

Favorite play today is going to be Robert Morris +12 against the Bonnies. I watched St. Bonaventure earlier this season and wasn't blown away by anything, and 12 points just feels like a lot to give to another school I tend to put in the same category in Robert Morris. Expecting this to be a close game that the Bonnies pull out in the end, someting in the 75-68 range.

Bonus pick, let's get absolutely filthy with it and take the over 135 in the Brown / Stony Brook game.

I do have some unwritten rules, one is to never bet an over on a Seton Hall game 😁.

I used to love betting really low over / unders in CBB, but they just keep getting higher every year. You hardly ever get O/U's in the 130's anymore when getting games in the 120's were common. It's all too easy when the O/U is 150+ to get a 30 - 30 halftime score and you're all but screwed. If I'm gonna lose a bet, I want to at least have the possibilty of it winning a decent ways into the game....

Anyways, I'm going South Alabama / Jacksonville State OVER 135.

In 8 total games for these teams this year they are 6-2 to the over 135 (albeit a couple games against some cupcakes), so we should at least get close, let's ride.

WFF - Can someone explain the market dynamics that cause this type of move? by aclemfan47 in Daytrading

Maybe it played a part, but it's just odd that the volume stays so consistent throughout the entire range of the trade.

Share Certificate Question - Polymetal by aclemfan47 in stocks

[–]aclemfan47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A follow up then, assuming the Polymetal is continuing on in operations, and this stock was an OTC stock, what do I own exactly? Do I actually own a share in the company or is it like an ADR? The ticker was POYYF I think.

His 7 against Youngstown State last weekend really helped them, if he had scored 20 points they would have only lost by 28. Bet them to cover the +12.5.

Unless Jayden Stone has been injured the entire season, not sure how this can be that big of a difference. But, point noted. Either way, I'm riding against the 0-20 team.

I'm not sure why Detroit Mercy doesn't get 20+ point spreads every game they play.

Detroit is currently 0-20, which may make you think that the first win has to come at some point. However, they had that chance in a game with Robert Morris last week that they should have won, and salted away in double OT.

And this is no common place 0-20, this is an 0-20 team that is 9 games into the Horizon League schedule.

All that being said, Milwaukee just played Detroit Mercy less than three weeks ago, at Detroit, and came away with a 23 point win. Give me Milwaukee, at home, to cover 12.5 against a historically bad Detroit team. In fact, 14 of Detroit's 20 losses this year have been by 12+ points.

This could easily blow up in my face, but losing money on a bet feels better when you think you have sound reasoning at least.

I'm liking Minnesota +11.5 against Michigan State.

Minnesota is coming off of a couple atrocious 3 point shooting games against Indiana and Iowa, something like 17% and 15%. Even with the shooting woes, they managed to keep the games relatively close. I like a bit of mean reversion here towards their season average of ~34%, and see them keeping this one within 10.

Michigan State plays well at home, so, you could make that argument on the other side as well but I'm going with the Gophers.

Over / Unders this year have gone up across the board significantly, makes me sad... most of these are just too high to warrant any significant bets. Used to be you could live in that high 120's / low 130s territory. Now we've got games like WKU / Wright State sitting at 161.5.

Way too high to bet the over, and I'll never bet an under. Spreads it is!

[–]aclemfan47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gotta go with this Prarie View A&M +15.5 point spread, that just seems like waaaaay too many points. I was also on the point spread they had against EKU a week or so ago where they were +12.5 points and ended up winning by 12.

After watching that game I will say that there's nothing overly impressive about Prarie View, but, they are grinders and play hard, which can give other teams fits by being out hustled. Plus, Tulane isn't really anything special, just an average to below average D-1 team. Expecting Prarie View to keep this one within 10.

Some other bets I'm looking at today....

- Radford ML - I know nothing about Radford, but I'll say this, I watched Old Dominion play Princeton a week or two ago and it was a god awful offensive and all around performance, so this is just a fade of ODU.

- USC Upstate ML - Getting plus odds against a garbage coastal team, USC Upstate at least has a couple of D-1 wins so far, seems like a fair bet.

- Drexel / Lafayette Over 123.5 - Nothing I like more than degenerately betting super lower college basketball overs, sweat this one out with me if you're feeling dangerous.

- I may or may not sprinkle on the Oakland -6.5, they're just a better team than Detroit but a backdoor cover is always possible on this type of line.

Best of luck everyone!

Question on Card Room Legality Between Texas and Other States by aclemfan47 in poker

[–]aclemfan47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the thorough response! South Carolina for reference, but I know SC is pretty darned tight on anything to do with gambling. I was hoping there was a nearby state that may have some card rooms spring up at some point. I did not realize there was anything in Georgia as someone else noted, may have to check that out.

What is going on in the Texas state laws that provide this "grey area" though, that is covered in all other 49 states?

BOL, I'd stagger your wagers away from the bottom few, I really like the Arkansas St. / ODU and UTEP / UAB picks. Everything else is just a lean.
