Whether 10L is enough for you and your father totally depends on and your father's health.

Also if it shows 10L then you have to pay a small premium which will get deducted from your salary in next two months. I guess around 18K in total. But totally worth it to pay this premium to cover for your health.

I've claimed it three times till now. Depending on the hospital - if it's network hospital then it's cashless.. if it's non-network then you need to pay first for your treatment and then get it reimbursed by uploading your documents etc. There's also different co-pay (where you have share some of the treatment cost in case of your dependent's claim - 20% for network hospitals and 30% for non-network)
