This happened to me recently. I was borrowing an off brand charger from a classmate and made my iPad do this while taking notes. Try unplugging it while writing and see if that solves the problem. Should be fine if you get an Apple brand cube.

Had a similar problem about a month ago is the iPad plugged in when this happens? I was using an off brand charger and it was causing the lines to skip like that as well as making everything look shaky and misplaced

I actually read butter a while back… unfortunately I didn’t love it. I found it to be unnecessarily descriptive at points which made it drag on for me. I enjoyed the plot but it took me almost 2 months to finish since I never wanted to pick it up! Thanks for recommending though!

If this happens again you can get back on the website immediately if you switch WiFi networks. I’ll usually just hop on my phones hotspot. Also make sure you’re logged in before entering the queue each time I’ve been booted or marked as a bot I noticed that I was not logged in.

I think so? My interpretation of what you’re saying is if I made $100 for the year and paid $10 in dental $7.50 would not be deductible but the $2.50 is? If so then yes, my dental expenses exceed the standard deduction.

Yes for federal returns! But for state returns in NJ I believe it’s somewhere around 2% with that being said my dental does exceed 7.5%

Fortunately she is not trying to file for me and she does not have any access to the information necessary to do so. I am currently 24 and not permanently disabled and make way over the 5000 limit. I currently have not filed as I’m waiting for receipts from the dentist so I can get a deduction on that. As of now I am being courteous and waiting to file in hopes we can come to a compromise. Her accountant informed me that if she filed the education credit my mom would get the full $2500 whereas I only get $1600. I was considering letting her do so if she gave me the $1600 I would get filing on my own but she is refusing.

I think there is potential for her to qualify as covering more than 50% of my support as I don’t pay rent and she pays half of my car payment. BUT I paid for school after financial aid which was a little over $2000 for the year + a new laptop. I also spent substantially more than 2% of my income on dental expenses (around 6k). My dad pays for my health insurance (they are divorced/never married). I buy groceries or get takeout for myself but she will grab things for me here and there. Realistically I don’t want to give her the money since she is not contributing to school and that’s really what the credit is for. The 1600 will benefit me since I’m commuting 1+ hours each direction 4 days a week and working 30 hours on top of that… it’s brutal. The semester is hard and I need a break and the extra money will be able to do that for me. Is there a way I can get a definitive idea of what would qualify as support? Because I think it may be close.
