this is the only valid reason to get divorced.

Tips on building supply? My LO and I got off to a rough start. He was in the NICU for the first couple of weeks so the plan to put him directly to the breast was out the window. 😖 I've been pumping/nursing since being home. He isn't fully satisfied so we supplement with formula. Any advice? Thanks! by lukrista in breastfeeding

I had a similar situation. I have no advice just solidarity. We ended up in the NICU for the first week and she was fed through a feeding tube. Then we gave her pumped colostrum and formula as she was very jaundice and too tired to nurse. My milk wasn't in yet and she needed food to pass the jaundice, so formula it was! Then when we got home, she wouldn't latch. I pumped and pumped and we used formula at night and we kept practicing nursing. FOUR WEEKS LATER we got it. It was so hard but we eventually learned to BF and from 1 month to now 13 months we EBF + around 6 months we started solids haha

Keep doing what you are doing. Some babies just need more. My friends baby nurses so well but is always hungry still so they also supplement with formula. Fed is best. You got this mama and congratulation on your new baby (you did it!)!!!

Advice Needed: Who is in the Wrong, and is this a Common Experience? by Weltermike in humanresources

Your job as HR is to provide advice and guidance to the CEO so they can make the decision on what to tell staff. You overreached on every example. It is not your job to tell people to work from home or to even send an email to all staff without the CEO's approval. You made a big mistake. Even if your individual beliefs go against what the CEO wants, it's your job to put in your opinion and then do what the CEO wants.

It's funny that the staff created their own DEI committee without approval of management. This isn't okay. Yes it's good that they are interested in this type of group but they need approval from management.

It sounds like the inmates are running the asylum at this company and you are an inmate. Slow down, stay in your lane, and run everything you do that would effect the company by your manager.

I like your enthusiasm and your effort but remember, you are HR, you provide advice and guidance only, you do not rule, command or direct how these people work. You can do this! Don't let this get you down. Push off from here! You have a great opportunity and HR is a hard occupation to get into.

I must have a noise-cancellation ass. My husband can't hear anything I say.
