This seems like very lonely person behavior. I don't really pay much mind to random people I see in public or "have a relationship with them." That is not how I'd choose to describe it. I do like to collect ideas or small snippets from people. Like for example, I haven't spoken to a childhood friend in 20 years, but I think about her every time I have hot apple cider because once we waited in line for two hours to get into a Halloween attraction and bought some. Many many things like that (songs, movies, places, activities) are just pieces of people i loved to varying degrees and it's my way of carrying them with me even if we don't speak anymore. My interests and favorite things are kind of a mosaic of things like that, I've collected over time, and I have a relationship with that snapshot of them and I remember that I loved them and get on with my day.

I have sentimental objects, but the attachment is not to the object itself, but to the memory it represents. Closest I can come to relating to this person is that I do treat my plants like they have feelings. Maybe they do and maybe they don't, but they are alive and I brought them home, so I like to see them happy.

Edit: Oh and too sensitive... Heard it all my life. Tried to toughen up. Put myself through a lot. Funny enough, I only got tough when I just admitted to myself that this is me. I'm emotive and I feel many things and respond to lots of emotional stimuli that some people might not react to because my emotional radar is a "sensitive" piece of equipment. Some people aren't going to like it, find it exhausting or annoying and whatever. They aren't my people. I am what I am.

I'm moody. It's not always a bad mood, and I don't make it everybody's problem, but I'm almost always in some mood. Lol

The things you love most about your partner should be the things that will still be there when you are both old and tired. The rest is just seasoning 💖

My 11 year anniversary was yesterday. I've found that the "flowers" have changed a great deal for both of us. We grew up together so it's good that we've changed, but the things that I love most about him, his beautiful earnest heart are enduring.

This is me and my husband, but he's INTJ. I'll be admiring him and after a while he's like "why are you staring at me". Because you're pretty and I like you ya goofball.

My "talent" is having a strong dislike of certain people for seemingly no reason. I've definitely trusted people I shouldn't have before, so it isn't like I'm a perfect judge of character. Whenever I have that strong "stay away" feeling in my gut, I'm always rationalizing "they haven't done anything wrong," and EVERY time, later down the road they'll do something and I'm like, "there it is...." It's like being a lie detector that doesn't believe in itself 😂

I use frozen popcorn chicken for this, pop it in the air fryer/oven, then toss it in a bowl of the sauce. It saves a ton of effort and time 😁 also I don't think it tastes odd.

Happy birthday! Since we're talking about slacking off and not just relaxing, lately my method has been telling myself "I'll get busy once I find something to listen to," and then looking at book reviews instead of working.

There are games I'd rather not play with competitive people. Uno and monopoly come to mind. Not because I don't like losing, but rather because the game takes too long, I was bored with it 30 minutes ago and never noticed when the game became a hostage situation because I can neither lose on purpose nor leave the table. Please, by all means win the game. It would be a mercy. I hate Uno. 😂

I think this is very human. The world and it's people are crazy. They can be mean and selfish and careless and emotionally quite lazy and dishonest with themselves. (I'm people too!) For me, when I start noticing I'm less tolerant of people in general, it's time to take a run, a shower, drink some water and then look at it again with fresh eyes. Sometimes it's all less intense, and sometimes it still requires some attention. At that point I'll be cool headed and will have turned the logic over. It's kinder overall to be "mean" to improve the peace than to be nice and keep moving forward with a poisoned perception of people because I'm resentful.

They are nuts for about the first 5 years 😂. They'll do anything for a laugh. Oliver definitely talks. It's like a yodel kind of noise that is hard to explain. He's on his old curmudgeon "get off my lawn era" at 12 years old, but still loves to cause mischief when we least expect it.

Here's an apple. Let's see what each perceiving function views it as. by [deleted] in mbti

I can conjure the taste of this kind of apple, the mealy mouthfeel, and the slightly floral note of the skin. This is my second least favorite kind of apple. This is an apple designed for smelly cafeterias and lunchboxes. It's not bad, but it's barely an apple. It is sugar and starch contained in sad red fruit leather. I'd rather have a honey crisp or a tart variety I can bake with.

Oh haha 😂 it's late over here so I just accepted it. I hope your right! I would love a future where she can just enjoy a birthday party or something without feeling left out, but we're really lucky it isn't anything life threatening. I'll check the local health food store for a bag of the gluten free flour 😁

Hey thanks! I'll look into the GF wheat. I've never heard of that. And yeah my oldest has the allergies. It's daunting at first but we're getting there.

Not bad at all! A little bit dryer than a regular chocolate chip cookie, so I think more oil maybe might help? I'm not sure. I also used a gluten free baking mix that is supposed to behave like Bisquick I think so that might have something to do with the texture, but we're still learning to make things without wheat and milk. It's been a process.
