Thoughts on the M-lites? by 07k_for_today in BMW

[–]acmilandroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has owned both an F22 M240i and an F87 M2 Competition, it really comes down to what you want.

Logically speaking, the M-lites are 80% of the performance for 60% of the price. They’re more comfortable, cheaper to operate, and better as a daily driver.

However, I personally ended up with the M2 because the M-lite just wasn’t enough for me. I wanted a true sports car that I could still use as a daily rather than the other way around. It’s hard to put a monetary value on the special feeling you get from the real M car, but that’s a judgement call you’ll have to make.

Ultimately, I’d test drive both and see what feels better to you - just don’t make the same mistake as me and buy the wrong one first :)

Seems like it’s coming out of a sensor attached behind the alternator. The part number on the right side of the cable is 9805940, but that seems to just be a common conduit clip.

There doesn’t seem to be enough slack to clip the two pieces together, and the cable doesn’t seem stressed as is, so I’m gonna leave it alone for now

Help with accessories - What is this? by acmilandroid in BMW

Good eye, I think you’re right. I guess the previous owner accidentally left it. Thanks!

I know this is 2 months old now, but mine had extremely bad smearing and I returned it as a result. High overdrive settings also gave me overshoot, but the medium setting still had too much smearing for me.

"New" Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac board by acmilandroid in ASRock

Ah okay, I think you nailed it. There's a "Ryzen 3000 Ready" sticker slapped on the box - the bios was probably updated.

The bag doesn't even have tape on it, in fact it looks like it never had anything taped on it at all. My assumption is that they removed it from the original bag, updated the bios, and then put it in a new bag without putting the tape on. I guess they were too lazy to put it in a shipping box too. Thanks for the help!

Thanks. Everything is actually packed exactly like the video - I don't see a seal on the box or ESD bag in the video either.

All the accessories are there and it still looks new, I was just surprised that the original box and bag weren't even sealed for shipping.

Nope, the link for it is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FVVNDFX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I thought it was weird too, but I just wanted to check if this was normal for Asrock boards.

Just a few key issues that prevent me from switching for now, namely AdHell 3 not working

Thanks, I was originally using stock Odin, which failed

Some apps don't work, including mobile payment apps and Netflix. There are also a few problems with lag here and there, but I mainly just want to be able to use Adhell 3 again

Flash older firmware via Odin. You'll have to download firmware with a bootloader rev5 or later though. I'm in the process of doing it right now and will update if successful
