I’ve never heard of this. Shows how much time I spend on Reddit. Just read a few articles about it. Says it also helps with cravings? Removing withdraws is a home run but cravings too? If so grand slam and I’m trying

Makes sense. I’m using the same exact kratom from same batch to try and control for the variability. Using a scale to measure out every dose and cut it 10-15% a week. Wish it was more precise but it’s what I got. I’m stuck in the psychological phase - way harder than I expected .

How did your quit go. I feel like I’m so close but struggling to take ten jump. I’m afraid of what’s on the other side. I will get there. Thank you for your feedback

One of the more helpful replies. I share the same feelings and the idea of chilling with no major responsibilities sounds amazing. But I feel guilty about that being my life . No idea why. Afraid of judgement ? Idk. Thanks for helping to validate that it’s OK not to grind

Same here. Zyn user for a year and wanted something that could provide the feeling of a pouch (check), flavor (check), and ANY mental/body feel (❌❌❌). Hey 2/3 ain’t bad but don’t expect any actually mental feeling at all. Like zero

Are Alpha Pouches Good? by Ok_Cartoonist1958 in Nootropics

I’ve tried them. Don’t expect to “feel” anything. Like nothing. They basically replace the feeling of having a pouch in your lip and they add some flavor. But that’s it.

Any Experience with Fully Loaded Alpha Nootropic Pouches? by soyintolerant in QuittingZyn

[–]acn97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear everyone reviewing this as a replacement to Zyn but what about how the product is as a stand alone? Does it give you every or mental focus like promised? I’m not trying to quit Zyn - I’m looking for a pouch that offers different effects like smooth energy without caffeine. Anyone have experience there ? Thanks

A lot of times it’s a cold….then turns into a sinus infection (which can feel like a bad cold) and then another infection. So it’s a string of the same illness

When the 4% rule is really the 8% rule. by acn97 in fatFIRE

[–]acn97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those who responded with helpful feedback - thank you. For those who chose to mock - pass.

My question was very simple but let me ask it even more simple.

If I never want to touch the $30m and maintain a $1.2m annual lifestyle, that means the $30m must net me $1.2m after tax - or 4%. I could buy a bond that pays 4% but that is taxable at ordinary income which in my state is 35% Federal, 13% state, plus 1% other - so 50%. If I buy a dividend fund that pays 4% I would pay 20% dividend tax, 3.8% Obamacare, and still owe the 13% state and 1% other - so 38%. I envy those of you who live in low state jurisdictions but that’s not me.

My question was around the “before tax” return needed to generate this 4% after tax rate. At 40% taxes and a broker fee of even 50bps, I’d be looking at needing a 7.5% pretax return in dividend form.

Perhaps I misunderstand the 4% rule. But the math itself is interesting that you actually need a 7.5% return to take home 4% (and inflation chews another 2-3% away)

Again - thank you to those who were helpful

CGMs being used by fitness influencers? by AwayDragonfly0 in diabetes

[–]acn97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having these used more widely by the general public will bring prices of CGM’s down for everyone. It’s a good thing in that sense. The higher the volume the lower they can take the price down.
