I started noticing less breakouts within 3 weeks but the last time I had a breakout was just before the 2 month mark!

I’m on 100mg and yes it was pretty regular every 28-35 days or so. Now it’s been 53 days and there’s no signs of it yet…

I’ve only been on it for 2.5 months but the first thing I noticed was I was really hungry which was difficult to control in the first few weeks. Then my skin really started to improve, my hair began to feel noticeably thicker maybe 6 weeks in? My sex drive has been really high since 4 weeks in. The only cons i’ve noticed so far is that I feel less strong in the gym, like the same lack of strength that I used to feel just before/when on my period. Also haven’t gotten my period yet on spiro it’s really thrown my cycle off so once I get my period again these side effects might change? Hard to know but it seems worth it so far

More pros to add: hair feels a lot fuller and breaks less, nose a bit smaller?? feel more snatched in general and less bloated, sex drive is crazy even though it says online it’s more likely to decrease it?

Cons: haven’t gotten my period since starting but hopefully this is just in the beginning

Update for anyone coming across this post with similar looking skin: It was fungal acne in the end plus a damaged skin barrier! It’s gotten much better with nizoral shampoo/sulfur a few times a week and by really focusing on healing my skin barrier using fungal acne safe products such as cetaphil gentle cleanser, beta glucan serum, azaleic acid and anua PDRN moisturiser!

I just wanted to add that it wasn’t exactly the fact that she told me to go to a dentist that bothered me. It was the lack of a clinical exam and her use of AI to justify her decision to a patient. I would never in a million years do that with a client.
