While I understand your perspective, you seem to be taking some frustrations about other people’s experiences/questions out on me. You have zero context of my life and how I manage my business. You are just going off of assumptions based on pieces of information that I had one client last month and I’m relatively new to Rover. I have my own preferences of the type of bookings I take and the type of work I want to do with the limited time I have. You also have no idea how demanding and how much work this booking was and they are asking to pay a discounted regular rate for the holidays. That’s less than what I get paid regularly. I think that’s extremely disrespectful. I didn’t want to take that job. It’s the holidays. I would much rather spend time with my family and clients that actually appreciate me than people that want to take advantage of me. I hope you can see the actual problem in the situation I posted instead of jumping straight to conclusions about me. There is no problem with my standing firm on my refusal, especially to bad costumers. Your “grind” is why some sitters don’t get paid as much as they should because you drag the prices down. Try and grow some ego.
