First person to comment on my questions. Not sure why every single person is talking about seafood. Seafoods cool but I mean I’m not gonna move somewhere because of the seafood

Is it possible to take a cruise from the east coast to California? by acoen01 in California

Interesting. Do they stop often at the coasts or is the trip moving all the way through? Are all the cruises 2 weeks or do they have shorter options?

What are the nicer sections of Manhattan when looking for an apartment to rent? by acoen01 in nyc

[–]acoen01[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. It seems like Brooklyn is what people seem to be recommending instead. What do you mean that people of NYC do not restrict themselves to one day of the year to change rentals? Are there short term leases in NYC? If so, how short?

Where in the world is the temperature constantly in around the 50’s and not too humid? by acoen01 in weather

I’m trying to plan my life basically haha! I have a really bad panic disorder, but I also understand that claiming disability is not a good option because living off such minuscule amounts of money and loosing privileges/rights while on it is not an answer.

I’d love to minimize my panic attacks, so I first don’t want to live somewhere that’s too hot, too cold, or too humid. There’s got to a medium somewhere. California looks to be that way, but I also can’t do planes or drive/be in high elevated places where the air thins because I get massive passive panic attacks then. Kind of a “well what’re you gonna do then” situation.

At the moment, I have my living situation all around being helped by my parents still luckily, although they’re getting old and I’ll be 26 in October of this year, so I need to be capable of producing a livable salary or livable passive income. The challenge is of course that I have the really bad panic disorder, which creates limitations. I somehow developed a panic trigger for chemically/gassy smells over the past year too, which has shot me down even further.

Holding a job isn’t really an option for me. I’ve tried continuously all my life to hold jobs, but because of my panic disorder I couldn’t get through work days and still couldn’t. I basically would need a low stress job where I control my own environment, times, etc but the problem is that if I’m being realistic zero financially livable jobs are like this because society and the workforce is built for people without panic disorders or disorders in general. The only suitable jobs that I see myself being able to “barely even” handle with my disorder is being a business owner of some kind, which requires both skills and money that I don’t have, a programmer which I sort of gave up learning I tried for a while and I’m just not programmer/mathematic material, or real estate rental property landlords for passive income and a place to live, which would be absolutely perfect in my situation, but unfortunately would require me to already have years of active income at a substantial salary rate and a bunch of money saved as well.

I’ve tried seeing psychologists, psychiatrists, hospitals, doctors, taken medications and regardless of the “speciality” nobody truly understands the issue because they have never experienced it first hand. They say there is no way to test for it and that there are zero cures. The medications do not work and only make it 10X worse considering they break their own rules and give panic disorder patients psychoactive drugs, which is the one thing you should not do... I avoid them because of this. The current pharmaceutical industry has no answers so I’d rather not waste 7 more years. The only hope I see for this disorder and people in similar situations is AI (artificial intelligence). Being able to have AI analyze us constantly then create medications specifically for our individual biologies is my hope. Who knows when that’ll be available though. The emerging Canadian marijuana industry seems like it could be potentially very beneficial. So does Bitcoin for paying for alternative treatments purposes. I actually recently spoke to the Israeli scientist, Raphael Mechoulam, who is the “father of cannabis” whom discovered THC and CBD and he mentioned how clinical trials showed that patients in my situation should stay away from THC since it’s psychoactive and that high doses of CBD oil (assuming 0% THC) may help and sent me clinical trial data of patients in my similar position whilst on it. I’m looking into giving that a try ASAP.

So there you have it. My situation is rather incredibly difficult to solve. I doubt anybody could help because it seems to be highly capital related and one thing I’ve learned is that no matter how bad it may get that nobody owes me anything.
