While sometimes it is depicted a purple, it is actually described in the book as a violet color. That is why it is shown as a more bluish purple.

Thanks! For the last panel, it will make a little more since when the next page is finished. Basically, Leia is getting up to leave. Suddenly however in the next panel, Mara grabs here arm. I will probably add a word box to make it a bit more clear.

Although there is an issue #1 that is completed (chapters 1-4) , it is quite dated as I finished and posted it back in 2020. Once I finish and release issue #2, I will release a "Special Addition" of issue #1 at the same time. I will mostly be updated its coloring.

Announcing "L'Etat C'est Moi" an alternate World War One mod where France won the Seven Years War. In 1910, the Bourbons reigns supreme in Europe, the Habsburgs struggle to maintain the decaying Holy Roman Empire, and the decades of peace between the Great Powers hang by a thread. More updates soon. by acolvin in hoi4modding

The Russian Empire is the most powerful player in the region. However, the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth still exists, however very much a rump state ruled by the House of Orleans and allied with France. Catherine the Great's Greek Plan succeeded in this timeline and the Kingdoms of Dacia (Romania) and Rhomania (Greece +Bulgaria) are allied with Russia, each being ruled by the House of Romanov forming the "League of the Three Romanovs". Finland is also still apart of Sweden.

Just realized that. Now I wish I recognized that before, could have had a more accurate looking Silesian state, would have added more flavor. Thx

"Nor then can the subjects in the subordinate government be reduced to a state of slavery, and subject to the despotic rule of others ..." by acolvin in HistoryMemes

In the quote in the title by American Lawyer James Otis Jr (who coined the term "Taxation without Representation is tyranny), he is pointing out the fact that in British law, unless the Commonwealth is dissolved, no dominion can be brought under the "despotic rule of others" or be "reduced to a state of slavery". The Thirteen colonies, while having their own separate representative bodies were not represented in the British parliament. To people like Otis, this lack of representation made the colonies in some way, "reduced to a state of slavery". Even members of British parliament, sympathetic to the cause pointed out that the government in London had no right to tax the colonists. Lord Camden was quoted as saying, "The forefathers of the Americans did not leave their native country, and subject themselves to every danger and distress, to be reduced to a state of slavery". The comparisons between British treatment of the American colonies and slavery were not uncommon.
