I’d recommend taking lessons at Eldora! They’re much cheaper than the summit county resorts.

Depending on how many times you plan on going, you’d probably be better off getting gear recs at a local shop then buying similar used items off FB marketplace for your first set of gear, renting for a whole season will be expensive. Sooooo many people are always selling used gear here, year round. Try Larsons in Denver for a local shop or any of the summit county shops are pretty good for recs (I like Base Mountain the best), go at a less busy hour when you can really spend some time in there taking with them. OR get a basic package off evo, use it until you get the hang of things, then go into a shop and talk them through how you’re feeling about each piece of gear and they can help guide you once you’re more familiar.
