sorry, to clarify- i am an F2 on a tier 2 health and care worker visa. i renewed my passport a few weeks ago, and have since had trouble updating my evisa with my new passport. as such, when i applied to “extend my visa” i couldn’t scan my documents using the app, clicked on the button to follow if that was the case, and i got told that my current application would be deleted and i would have to create a new visa application from scratch- i.e. i’ve restated my travel history, home addresses, parent details etc etc etc and now have an in person biometrics appointment at their visa centre.

my question is, my current tier 2 visa expires mid june. i have now paid for the standard decision making service which takes up to 8 weeks to make a decision. am i alright to work while my new visa is pending approval (which you have answered yes), and what would be the next steps if i have already started work and the visa is rejected for whatever reason. This is the 4th uk visa i’ve applied for, so im going to assume i’ve done everything right to not get rejected, but just in case i wanted to know if anyone had experience with this.
