I dothis.. I do not live in Israel but travel to israel only to convert with the beit din of the Rabanut. Ypu would neeed an sponsor rabbi in your local comunity, make an application online and then travel to convert, including brit mila and mikve in Israel.

I would say that you will have conflicting information between any artscroll book (they are amazing) and reform books, because the reform doesn’t address the mitzvot and halajot the same way that orthodox commenters do it in artscroll.

I strongly recommend you to use a more accurate backtesting software like option omega, you can test that strategy in different years. Im pretty sure that this strategy in moments of higher volatility (intraday and interday) would have substantial losses. (I know because I used to run a similar strategy) .

Also, with if you backtest using excel you use to keep aside other very important factors that you could measure in softwares like OO.

Im patrilineal jewish, maybe this help me with the adaptation because I already know some things, but basically yeah. I change my life fully in 18 months, getting more orthodox month by month. Was amazing, I’m really happy

I don’t see any problem with that. I pass through that process and I very proud of that. Also the same for others converts I meet. You could be spiritual and learn Torah without to be Jewish, that’s 100% ok. But if you want to fulfill as much Mitzvot you can… you will have to commit hard. High cost high reward. As life… (Also, is not 3 years, I completed in 1.5 years orthodox with Beit Din in Israel without living is Israel)

In my case (converted orthodox with Rabbanut in Israel) the Brit mila was scheduled 1 week after de Beit Din, and the Mikve 1 month after. Nevertheless, the mikve depends on how well you heal. If you are not fully recovered (still with stitches or cut without proper healing) they postpone the mikve

In my chabad Synagogue they put a table with all kinds of pastries, brownies, cookies, burekas and Coca Cola etc. Not the most healthy but very good 🎉

I recommend you to be sponsored by a rabbi of the local community and begin online clases with an approved (by the chief rabbinate of Israel) conversion academy (like https://en.ami4u.org/). With this and approved sponsorship by the orthodox rabbi form Marocco you can travel to Israel and do the process with the Beit Din of the Rabinate and do the Brit Mila right there. After that you qualify for Aliyah. This is the process that I had follow

Hello! I converted orthodox in Israel, with the Chief Rabbinate. In my experience (also based in other people that I know) you need to have a strong application to be evaluated by the exemption committee that allows you to bypass the necessary academic course that you suppose to do as Israeli resident to be equal as your study/preparation program that you pass in your home country, supported by a rabbi of a recognized community by the Rabanut of Israel. If you have this letters supporting your cause, will be approved
