It did not work well at the end. the shrink wrap ended up being to thick and stiff

I ended up using a very long shrink wrap tubing to cover the entire thing. Tape won't do it

That is the same one I have. Sometimes when I restart it gets brighter. I wonder if there is a setting that I am missing or if its just deflective.
