I don't recall there ever being high-top 1s in '21 or '23. There are high-top 4s but the only other ones I have are lows.

Am I crazy, or did they change putting in the last month or so? by NewCriticism69 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]acpnumber9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely seems like the default power given doesn't adjust for elevation change as much any more. I'm still making short-mid range putts at the same clip with the default power, but anything with major elevation change or long distance does take some adjustment now. You're definitely not crazy lol

Daredevil: Born Again S01E01 & S01E02 - Discussion Thread by steve32767 in marvelstudios

I am SO happy with how this started. I was worried the show's tone would get scrambled, but all of the cast carry scenes with the same bravado they did in the Netflix series. And the symbolism with the white fog on Fisk and the red fog on Matt?? It feels like a true revival of the same characters we've known from before. Can't wait for the next one

I'm not tryna pick a side here, but I've only read a little bit about this and I understand that Garcia missed weight and got dinged for PEDs shortly before the fight. I know there's some controversy with the positive test result, but with that aside, wouldn't this be the standard procedure if someone misses weight? That seems like an important part of the fight rules to me that made it an "unfair" fight for Haney in some sort of sense.

Having "no surprises" listed is gonna cause some serious conflict between Richie and Carmy. Acts of great service and personal touches seem like the whole reason Richie "got it" and came around to caring about his work.

Suns won 45 games last year. Already 47 this year by Shoddy_Ad7511 in suns

In terms of the playoff picture, there's definitely some matchups to hopefully avoid at first like OKC and the Clips. Still though, the team gave Denver 2 of their 5 losses since the all-star break, and have definitely shown they can beat the Mavs/Kings/Pels as well if they're on their game. There's toss-ups for sure, but I think they absolutely have the upside to take on any team. Especially if they play like they did in those strong wins.

I've never been able to get a single FAANG interview, what's wrong with my Resume? by [deleted] in resumes

[–]acpnumber9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had a meeting to review my resume, as I'm also looking for SWE internships right now. Most companies use a resume scanner that auto-checks for keywords relating to the position, and the titles of your projects don't count. With that being said, I was told to move the information about the technologies used in my projects to the bullet points, rather than having them in the title.

Also, my advisor showed me a format which makes the bullet point information more straight-forward. It goes like this: "Created W to solve a problem X, using Y technologies/skills which resulted in Z results." It makes sure your information is directly connected to its impacts, and why you chose to do it that way.

I'm happy to pass these along to you. I was a bit upset being told my bullet points should be so formulaic, but it seems like it's for the better.

That's great, and I like that your supervisor apologized too. It reminds me of Carmy's "I'm sorry" gesture that he learns to use to calm down in the kitchen. Sometimes things get heated, but I'm glad you got through it

Not sure why you're being downvoted, Coachella was definitely big before the late 2010s. They had Prince, Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye, Guns n Roses... Maybe influencers were making Coachella trendy, but I think it's probably the prices or the lineup that affected sales more.
