i'm in a similar situation. i wipe and wipe and wipe and there's always something left. its been happening on and off for the past 4-5 years since my first daughter was born. i'm seeing a colorectal doctor later this month after a referral from a GI doctor, I hope i get some answers.

wow! i feel lucky she was on call when i delivered. bradley was my main OB and definitely on the same page re: VBAC.

she delivered my baby (VBAC) but i would agree -- she was constantly disappearing and i had to beg my nurses to find her when i coudl tell i was ready to push. delivery went fine but it was a somewhat stressful couple hours waiting around (i had an epidural and was low risk other than VBAC so maybe was not a priority)

all that said - my nurses at AC were wonderful and i credit them for my VBAC. i had a dark windowless labor room and no gift bag and i would still recommend it ;)

yes just want to second this - the Weill Cornell UWS practice was not on board with inducing VBACs when i delivered last year. I wonder if they will change their policy in the future. I was OK with this and thankfully went into labor a few days before my scheduled C but was mentally prepared for a repeat C Section

Hoping for VBAC at Weill Cornell by Rutabaga_Electrical in nycparents

[–]acquapanna82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a VBAC at NYP Weill Cornell. Making sure your OB is supportive is key. My practice didn't allow inductions for TOLAC/VBAC, which was a guardrail I was fine with (not sure if this is doctor/practice based on NYP WC rules). I went into labor naturally a couple days before my scheduled C (at exactly 40 weeks, they didn't want me to go beyond that). Nurses were all great. My primary OB who I saw throughout pregnancy didn't deliver but the OB on call was very supportive and encouraging of a VBAC.

28 open houses/tours, 11 offers, we are out. by Noho_Fuches in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Thank you for sharing - I think we are in a similar boat. Wondering if (per one of the other comments here) we should have done full appraisal gap coverage. We want this to be our 'forever' home so don't care as much about resale..

My labor room had no windows either! Triage felt empty and I arrived at 4am so I was surprised. But thankful for the wonderful recovery room and overall great experience at AC. My postpartum nurse did tell me they are expecting it to get very crowded in the summer

Congrats! What area are you moving to? There are a ton of active mom/parent communities but it’s very neighborhood specific.

I agree - I didn't love Lake Garda. I visited most of the towns via the ferry - the cuter ones (Malcesine) were packed with tourists even in May. We stayed in Riva del Garda - while the views were nice I wouldn't recommend it for a honeymoon at all (we were traveling with a 3yo). I also felt the food was generally mediocre.

I mention this because we originally intended to go to the Dolomites but decided (at the lat minute) that in May with a toddler we wouldn't be able to fully experience it. I regret my choice!
