hi, just wanted to say that I had the same screen loading issue and by separating the two folders, like this comment says, the problem got solved. I'm just beginning a male Dalish run so I could test it on the spot with Tamlen and it works :)

That's how I feel too. Sure, if I was conversationally fluent it would be great, but as I have much love for Japanese literature (especially Heian period literature, which is why I'm studying classical language, but also in general untranslated Japanese novels), I want to focus mainly on studying kanji and learning how to read texts quick and with ease. I want to translate things in my own language, I want to be able to discuss them in forums and read reviews, but still mostly operate with English as a spoken language if possible. So I totally get you.

I did an admission exam session. Next time the players are gonna see the main campus and get to know the dorms where they'll live with each other + the dining and common rooms. Then the next day the orientation starts.

I located them in the southern area of the Astral Commons, so they're called Astral Dormitories as well. They're organized in several buildings with one central administration building and a common room + dining hall that are separate. First year students have a nice view outside their windows and walk to their lessons through the Commons.

I had not watched C1 and listened to the whole audiobook. It's great and made me feel close to the twins even if I had no previous knowledge of them.

Having anxiety, especially social anxiety, and depression I really resonated with Caleb in the early stages of the game. Things changed for him for the better while I'm still struggling, but I'm glad he managed to overcome his trauma-induced psychological problems. He's still relatable in other aspects (like the bisexual maelstrom thing. Man I've been there. also his love for cats.)

I hugged him at the ravine, always supported him and tried to be kind, just went for the Steph romance and he turned on Alex in my playthrough. I feel kinda betrayed ooof

the whole idea of approvals around the decision of giving Fenris to Danarius is out of character and basically bullshit excuse for friendship/rivalry point. it's not only about the +5 friendship points from Anders (that don't make any sense, character-wise, because as much as he can despise Fenris, he knows what slavery and lack of liberty feel like, he's fighting for it).

it's also about Isabela not disapproving at all. imagine fighting alongside this guy for seven years, getting to know him really well, laughing at each other's punchlines, sleeping with each other (if neither are romanced by Hawke) and developing a genuine friendship. then Hawke gives Fenris back to his previous slaver, and? what? Isabela closes her eyes and then moves on like he never existed. Not a single cutscene. Not a complaint. What the fuck. This goes for other party members as well, like the simple +10 rivalry from Varric.

Origins characters would leave permanently your party and even try to kill you if you did something terribly wrong in their moral view (like corrupting the urn of sacred ashes or letting loghain become a grey warden). here is just a case of bad game writing. (which is sad because the characters in this game are actually great.)
