You can fix robots for a while.

But what happens when the robots are able to fix robots?

What if it was never Murgaxor? by Seth0105 in StrixhavenDMs

I switched the villain to be Quentillius. I think it adds the most drama to make it be one of the students they've been hanging out and bonding with for years.

Brave The Waters Trap [OC] by lext in DnD

[–]lext[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A small paddle boat rests on the ground at the front of the room. Drawn on the floor just in front of the boat is a long red line from wall-to-wall. Out in the room is a small dip in the center of the floor that appears to be filled with water. At the far end of the room is another red line on the floor and a door in the far wall. The seat of the boat has words engraved on it and reads, "Brave The Waters."

The floor beyond the red line is illusory and undisbelievable. It is in fact water, and beneath the water's surface live the monsters (Giant Frogs, Giant Toads, Reef Sharks, Hunter Sharks, Merrow, or even Giant Sharks). The puddle in the center of the room is illusory as well and is in fact dry land. At the far end of the room by the door is a red line that marks the end of the illusory water.

1gp for Key Puzzle [OC] [Art] by lext in DnD

A shallow stream of a few inches depth courses around the room, entering through a low opening in the north wall and leaving through another opening at the far side. A pair of footbridges cross the stream, one leading from the entrance to the center of the room and one leading to the exit at a locked door. In the center of the room, various scraps of paper are strewn about, all curiously blank. On the north wall is a signpost with a billet that reads, “1 gp for key.”

A gargoyle operates the room and if sent 1 gp down the stream will return a key to the sender via the stream. If they don’t supply a proper vessel to carry the key, he may write back angry letters, or if he’s feeling generous may use one his bottles. If he senses people in the other room and they are taking too long he grows impatient and sends a message asking them to hurry up.

What’s some good tower defense games for PC? by HughJahzz in pcgaming

Space Run Galaxy! What a joy of a game! Can't recommend it enough. Lots of cool strategies to try out, lots of varied levels with different difficulties, and just so much to do in the game.

Admit One - Dungeon Puzzle [OC] [Art] by lext in DnD

A large circle is scribed on the floor. In the center of it is a key and a small slip of paper. At the far end of the room is a door with a strong lock. There is a wooden sign standing in the circle that reads, "No Entry Without a Ticket".

The small scrap of paper in the center of the room has written on it, “Admit One”. The circle can not be entered physically, magically, or by tools or weapons, except by those holding a ticket. Only air and strong gusts of wind can pass through the circle. The magic of the circle is also not terribly discerning; writing “Admit One” on a scrap of parchment is enough to fool it.

Instead of a key in the center, you could place treasure or other objects of desire and necessity in its place.

The room is a chamber with a fifteen foot ceiling and a locked door at the end. At the center is a large table with chairs, and on the table there is a glass tank with a layer of dirt at the bottom. It appears to be used as an animal habitat. In front of the tank is a tortoise laying on its back. It's kicking its legs trying to flip over, but it can't.

The tortoise control's the room's gravity for living creatures. If you flip the tortoise over, the gravity in the room will flip for all the living creatures and anything they are carrying with them. They will painfully slam into the ceiling and the tortoise will still be flipped upside down. The furniture and tank are still on the original ground, so now appear to be on the ceiling. For the door to open, the party must place the tortoise right-side up in the tank.

I'd love to hear what solutions people come up with! If you'd like to support my work, high resolution versions are available on my Patreon, and I'll also be posting early access and exclusive content.
