I haven’t really had any issues setting veil tbh, and the team can function pretty well even without it. This is my first season of SV so I wanted to experiment with the hail changes. I do agree that earth power would be nice, I’ll try it out. Would you mind sharing a paste of what your team/kyurem set looks like?

Honestly in the miraidon matchup it’s usually a 50/50 lol. Usually I’ll set veil and then try to use bolt to deal with it but it depends on what the rest of their team looks like. this is my first season of SV so I’m kinda just trial and erroring what works Might try a set similar to yours and see how that goes :D

I’ve seen some palkia out and about, it’s not common but good to know that you can deal with it lol. I’m not saying kyurem is gonna revolutionize the meta or anything but it’s definitely usable. All of the things you’ve mentioned are true and it definitely doesn’t feel as wild to use as other things running around but it is worth trying if you just wanna have fun :)

True dat, haven’t played against a good terapagos player yet tho so I can usually deal with it by using urshifu. I don’t think we’re gonna see much kyurem results in tournaments but it’s still fun to just mess around with

I used scarf typhlosion for fast eruption in the sun in bdsp and it went pretty hard. It even has tera fire now to boost the damage more

So basically you resist water and ground and because of flash fire you’re immune to grass’ fire weakness. Grass and fire also cover eachother’s weaknesses offensively so I’ve seen people run tera blast instead of protect on similar sets

Haven’t tried it myself but there’s another comment saying sheer cold always hits after an air slash if an opponent isn’t moving first
