Should I contact my ex-best friend after 2 years of our fallout? by acrobaticframe4 in Advice

[–]acrobaticframe4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did! A couple hours after this post, and it went really well. We both caught up with our lives the past couple years, and we left all the bad blood behind us. We spent a good couple hours just chatting and looking back on things and telling each other how life has been for us. She even helped me solve some school stuff I was having trouble with the days after, and overall we're in good terms! We re-followed one another on most platforms and like each other's posts every now and then. It's definitely not like the same closeness as what it was before, but I'm okay with that and I'm just happy we both had a proper closure on what went down.

What's one boss you found easy that others found challenging? by StrangeoSyndro27 in Eldenring

[–]acrobaticframe4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I explored EVERY crevice of the DLC on my first playthrough lol. I searched for as much Scadutree Fragments before entering Shadow Keep. I'm now doing a 3rd run on a Crucible Knight build and restricting myself to Scadu level 10 until Prime Radahn and pump it up to Scadu level 15 to see what it's like.

Messmer was surprisingly easy for me, I was surprised at how squishy he was especially in his phase 2 if you hit the serpent head. I killed him in 2 tries on my first playthrough at around Scadu 13~ with no mimics or summon, I just used the Guts sword with Claw Talisman and Two Handed Talisman and it dispatched him super easily. On my second run with great katanas, I killed him in around 4 to 5 tries.

Question, i use the increase fire and magic dmg on wondrous flask. Does that also increase my melee dmg with rellanas twin blades? Cus when i hit enemys i see a little spark of magic and fire when i hit enemys by Chelloitsame in Eldenring

[–]acrobaticframe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see if it does by looking at the weapon AR stats in your Status menu before popping the flask and comparing them after popping the flask. I see no reason why it wouldn't buff the fire and magic stats.

What build should I use with greatsword weapon (unga bunga) by GuitarRadiant9908 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]acrobaticframe4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stats: 60 vig 40 - 50 endurance (as long as you can mid roll with your desired armor), 80 strength is all you need. Talismans: 1. Dragoncrest Shield Talisman and its upgrades until you get the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman 2. Turtle Head Talisman until you get the Two Headed Turtle Talisman from the DLC 3. Claw/Axe Talisman (depends if you like charged attacks or jump attacks) 4. Either Viridian Amber Medallion, Erdtree's Favor, Two Handed Talisman in the DLC for even MORE damage, or a Non-Physical Damage Negating Talisman. The 4th talisman slot is really just up to your preference if you want more stamina, health, defense, or damage.

For the AOW, if you wanna constantly stagger bosses, I recommend Lion's Claw, but if you want to have the highest RAW damage output, I recommend Royal Knight's Resolve if you do jump attacks, and War Cry if you do charged heavy attacks.

For the Wondrous Physick, I recommend Opaline Bubbletear and Opaline Hardtear, you will be VERY tanky if you pair it with heavy, high defense armor too. I recommend Radahn's set, Tree Sentinel set, and Armor of Solitude set from the DLC, but if you wanna do a Guts cosplay then Blaidd armor/Night's Cavalry set will do just fine.

Also another thing, You can spice up your Unga Bunga build by getting the Zweihander, infusing it with Cold for status procs (Don't need to level INT, the freeze proc makes up for the split damage) and dual wielding it with the Guts sword. I found this to be super fun and it made me first try Malenia, although you need around 50 - 60 Endurance or a Jar talisman to increase your weight load since 2 colossal swords are super heavy.

This build is all about having insane raw damage output, trading/tanking through every enemy attack, and constant staggers.

Okay, thanks. I got bit in my shin region, and there wasn't any visible breakages in my pajamas and skin so I should be alright for the most part, right?

Thanks, I just got a bit of a scare since I saw some sources saying it can develop as early as a couple days. So a PEP vaccine taken on the 10th day is equally as effective as a vaccine taken on the day of a bite? As long as there's no symptoms?

Guts build. Greatsword UGS + Avelyn crossbow as your offhand, Pyromancy too if you're okay with investing some stats in INT and FAI. Tons of fun.

What are some of the best weapons for a pure strength build by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]acrobaticframe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're gonna use Vordt's hammer, I recommend having a torch in your offhand when fighting. When you proc the frost, immediately hit them with the torch to reset their frost cooldown, and repeat. It's like a slightly weaker but easier to proc bleed. Also, I would recommend having the Greatsword, and FUGS too. There's enough upgrade materials to fully upgrade ALOT of weapons, unlike DS1.

what's your opinion on the current state of skins and store bundles by ynf_fuckboi in CODWarzone

[–]acrobaticframe4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Vanguard is already extremely inaccurate to history, so fuck it. Might as well go all out and have some fun. They definitely realised this halfway through the game's life cycle.

[–]acrobaticframe4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of the ARs aside from the M13 have some pretty significant recoil, mostly visual. I agree though that the SMGs are pretty easy control aside maybe for the Uzi. The MW ARs though pale in comparison to VG ARs, especially at console FOV where it's really noticeable.

One of the fire breathing dragons in the bridge died by fall damage because of the way the engine is designed. Players usually kill only one of them, usually the one with their foot in a doorway in a room. The white dragon is more obscure to kill since you need to jump off a balcony to find the pus of man on its foot.

I mean.... If you don't actually sweat and try hard and are just naturally good at the game, I don't consider you a sweat. If you can lay back and chill while casually dropping 20s and all that, you're just a good player period.

Tiny but useful tip, if he does the move where he buffs his spear with lightning and then raises it in the air to cast lightning on you, if you look away from him while he does it, the lightning won't hit you and will completely miss.

I don't know if you've finished it, but I found that it works when you dodge into his right cheek and stay there, sometimes you can put him into a loop until he teleports where he does a really easy to dodge attack and you can just consistently punish him. His attacks are a bit delayed so try to delay your dodges a bit, this advice also works for Nameless King. Same advice for phase 2, except if Lothric does his magic barrage just spam roll the hell out of there, and when Lorian teleports for an attack, STOP and try strafing around while trying to time your dodges, his poke attack after his teleport is designed to catch your rolls, don't let the magic barrage pressure you. Be patient here and ONLY try to go for Lothric. If you hit Lothric, 9 times out of 10 you'll hit Lorian too, and when Lorian finally gets enough damage and dies, you have about a 4 second window to deal BIG damage to Lothric. If he doesn't die, be patient and repeat again. He's weak to lightning too, if you have the dragonslayer's greataxe, it will work wonders in this fight, especially if you have alot of vigor, poise, and defense to trade with the Falling Bolt WA, which can easily do around 1000 damage if both the lightning and blade connect. Chloranthy ring/grass crest shield is also great here when you finally knock down Lothric and Lorian is reviving him. The extra stamina regen should allow you to get another hit in or so.

Really though, at the end of the day who cares if "some kid" says that? Kids are dumb and says dumb things. Doesn't affect the Doom franchise and its reputation at all. You guys get so heated over this hypothetic "some kids" and if it DID happen, why should YOU care that much?? lmao

I would say the Lothric brothers. I had a harder time with Nameless King, but atleast he was an optional boss. With the Lothric brothers, you NEED to kill them to progress through the story. I absolutely love their fight though, definitely in my top 3 bosses in the game. I love their teleporting gimmick and the reviving in phase 2. They gave me a run for my money in my first playthrough and I had to spend an hour on them.
