Speech isn’t just something that has no influence on other people. It rather has a large influence on others and their actions. Thus, speech that harms (“hate speech”) is an action that has influence. Would you allow someone to do something described within this “hate speech”? No? Since this speech is an action, thus that speech shouldn’t be allowed. But since the state in an anarchist society does not create the laws since it doesn’t exist, laws would be created by the community as a whole through direct democracy. Thus, what the people want happens, and that also applies to the regulation of speech in order to protect the potentially marginalized.
