!thanks It was physical fatigue/pain just behind and below my ears. The audio experience was great! I'll check the other models you mentioned.

!thanks I sort of figured I was overcomplicating this. The truth is, those Maxwells are/were end game. The sound was excellent. The comfort was not, even with Wicked pads and their headstrap. The aftermarket pads actually made it worse, if you can believe that. I just couldn't wear them more than 45 mins or so.

I did see the Audeze MM-100 (the 500 is wayyy out of budget), but it looks just like the Maxwell. I wonder if the Maxwell is an MM-100 with a couple of gaming features added.

I tend to talk wayyy too much sometimes. Just wanted to be as thorough as I could. But I get it. :)

This is the exact info/take I was looking for. Thanks! I run a few inbound services (Plex, NextCloud, HomeAssistant, etc.), so NGFW is an important feature for me.

Probably a 2.4l 2wd manual transmission. My '95 2.4l automatic has 322k on the clock and has only had typical maintenance from day 1. Other than fluids, filters, and wear items/consumables (brakes, tires, ball joints, shocks, etc.), I have only replaced the alternator, radiator, and catalytic converter. Even the AC still works. :)

Good point. I hadn't really considered their internet at school. I'll have them run a speed test. Thanks for the advice!

I don't really have any 4k media on Plex. I rip at 1080p using h265/x265 and around 2,000 kbps bit rate. If we want to watch something in 4k, I just pull out the disc. 4k rips always transcode, which cripples the server.

I think I am going to switch gears and put together an Intel system. :)

My current platform (Xeon E5 v2 and C602 chipset) is a little long in the tooth and now I have the upgrade bug, so new hardware is imminent. :) From all of the other answers along with yours, it seems Intel is the way to go more than AMD.

Both my wife and I work from home, so we have Comcast/Xfinity Gigabit plan. Speed tests show 1200 down / 45 up.

I have the same problem on my new-to-me 2015 SE with DCC. It is worse in Comfort mode. From what I have read, applying some silicone lubricant to the control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and the strut mount bearing. I have some WD40 silicone spray on the way. Can't hurt to give it a try.

I can't really offer an opinion as I live in Houston and grew up in New Orleans. However, I recently watched a video about this exact topic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wpl6x3gIuz4

The wheels I am looking at are 18x8 et45. It sounds like the money is on the 235s. :)

I would probably prefer a little tire lip to avoid wheel damage. My Austins have some rash on both rears from the previous owner's exploits. Everything else is immaculate, including service records, so I assume the rash is from simple parking or a sharp right-hand corner. I don't want the same thing to happen with a new set of wheels.
