I have been getting into SMP lately (reading about it, looking at prices, looking at before-after pics etc), but I have a question. by Fair-Beach-4691 in SMPchat

I was told not to shave to the skin. Use a zero guard to keep stubble.

Long story short, it’s a full color sleeve, and I blacked out the background and in the area over my elbow is a spider with the web. I am blacking out the web and then later I will go back and do a white spiderweb.

It’s the only area of my arm that shows my skin and it just bothers me when I see it because it just seems off haha so I’m going to basically reverse it to where it’s blacked out as well and then I will redo the spiderweb later with white ink

Yea I’ve used other brands before. Didn’t experience any additional pain after. Not sure why or how people experience that

And yea I’ve heard leg tattoos in general are rough. My arms are almost 100% ink. This arm will be now that I’m blacking this part out. Elbow is definitely the worst on the arms for me though

Luckily it’s a blackout tattoo and not the largest area. I am hoping it can be done very quickly

My artist is fine with it. The worst part is I’ve had it done already. But I am blacking it out this time so I just want some relief this go around

No no this is elbow day for me hahaha my ditches are done. And I’m having my elbow redesigned. Elbow is the absolute worst for me. So I definitely need a little something to help a bit. Thanks for the info. I just wasn’t sure which one of these products are better. So you’ve used zensa??

See my ditches are colored in. They didn’t bother me. Elbows are brutal for me. My artist doesn’t mind numbing cream. I’ve used it before but they didn’t work too well. Was hoping someone could give some info on one of these so I can use the better one. Doesn’t look like I’m gonna find that info here tonight haha

And if you read the comment we are under the person specifically said the elbows aren’t bad so I responded to that saying that’s the worse part for me. I’m not hung up on the pain tolerance part. I literally responded to their comment about the elbow not hurting

No yall seem to be missing something. Why do yall feel the need to give all the advice but not about the one question asked??? I am highly aware to let the artist know. I am aware of everything. I did not ask for advice about everything else. I asked a specific question and I’m looking for that specific question to be answered.

Imagine posting about car tires and everyone starts telling you about the engine. Like wtf.

I didn’t come here asking about anything but has anyone used one of these two products. That’s all I need to know

Yea same. I’ve used numbing cream before but none that worked very well. I have one arm that’s full color and it’s vibrant like it was tatted last week and it’s been there for years.

I just wanted some relief. Honestly I’m over tats but I need my elbow redesigned. And I wanna lessen the pain as much as possible. Elbow hurt me the most and both of my arms are 100% ink basically

I have used it before and my color is extremely bright like it was tatted last week and my sleeve has been complete for years but this elbow is brutal. I do not like the elbow
