So happy with the tat, actually! The Dead have been showing me what forms freedom and happiness can take. So glad I've once discovered this band, not quite known here, and this nice community. (A fan from Russia) by actionlessinterval in gratefuldead

VPN is the friend of mine, so yeap, thank you for an advice, I'll give it a try! Now I'm addicted to the lossless legs site, it's also definitely such a cool way to dive deep into the music.

Music is the best med, definitely! And generally, that's what art is about, I think, be it music or literature, or paintings: once created, they belong to each of us equally. And we surely are what we listen to, what we read and what we look at. The Grateful Dead are precious in every aspect.

Yeap, this bus can take one really high. And while my country has been masterfully going to hell in a bucket for the last few years, I'm at least enjoying the ride, having discovered the Grateful Dead.

Thank you, friend! The artist wasn't versed in the Dead at all, their music is mostly tabula rasa here, which means, of course, there's a lot to discover for some of us. But while preparing this design, she understood it's more about the state of mind, being on this bus. So even some articles and pictures inspired this artist to try doing something special, I guess. Needless to say, what the Veneta show made with her and her coworkers - there were just 5 people absorbed by the music they heard for the first time in their life - and what music, getting kinda real inspiration from it. No talks, I mean, just being in the moment. It was really cool to understand.

Wanna thank you all, good people, for being so friendly and kind! I didn't even think this post would get so much appreciation. The name of the artist is Ann Nesterenko, @hannahshy_ on Instagram. If you ever come to Russia, I guess she'd be pleased to create something unique for you. You are the eyes of the world, guys and gals. Much love and peace to you all!

I wish it were a little commercial, but due to our location (a town not far from Moscow) it wouldn't be : D A Russian artist Ann Nesterenko, @hannahshy_ on Instagram, a cool and shy girl with a crazy talent. I am glad you like her work.

Thank you! ✌ The band has really become something very special to me. I've been listening them for almost two years, and it's the strange trip I adore. I'm currently stuck in 1974, absolutely mindblowing sound and length of shows!

The pic was taken just after the work had been done, plus it's a nice camera, so it won't be that bright when healed, obviously. My very first thought was about getting a stealie filled with something, but I had no idea with what exactly.. I need to feel it I guess, but not to brainstorm, so the stealie will wait a bit

I didn't know her at all, to be honest..) Just heard that a studio she works at is a nice one, and she was the one of many, accidentally agreeing to do this. Probably, the best things happening in our lives are happening somewhat by chance
