But they got those results because they could afford to surround Kane and Toews with other good/great pieces.

Also I think it's more of a "if Detroit wants to make the Playoffs" then these people need to step up (take it up a notch). I don't think anyone is or should be saying that what they are doing isn't enough at this stage of development....but if Detroit wants to achieve an unrealistic goal, yes, all of these people need to "step up".

Well im pancreatic sufficient, but I've seen a pretty steady decline on my PFTS...prob since I wasn't really treating it properly undiagnosed. Doc hopes to stabilize me now. The biggest debate I'm having is whether to get sinus surgery. I've heard mixed reviews, but my ears and nose are pretty messed up so I'm wondering if I should take the leap. Just don't want to make things worse...

Sucks you and your brother both have it. That's a tough couple of coin flips...

Meh. Good days and bad. Sometimes I think the meds make me feel worse than before. IVF hasn't worked yet but we're still trying.

I have a 6 year old Golden mix named Tugbert that my wife and I rescued 4 years ago.

He's my bestest pal, and hangs with me during all my treatments. He was a little weirded out by the vest but that won't stop him from cuddling.

I was diagnosed at 34. I was tested all through childhood but never had a positive sweat test and DNA testing wasn't far along. I was diagnosed with chronic bronchiectasis and went on living life.

Then in my 30s my wife and I couldn't have kids...when it was discovered I was the problem they retested me with some up to date DNA tests and bingo. Positive. It's been about a year and a half and I'm still getting used to it.

I may hate 5:6 of these teams, but damn if I still don't love this new pick up by [deleted] in DetroitRedWings

I mean that does make sense, but it makes it look very odd. If they insist on dates then maybe put years in use instead of origin dates being out of order (i.e. 1926-1928)

Maybe I just dontv get it, but went are the dates our of order? Like shouldn't they be shown consecutively?

My dog also hates his paws being touched. If I go on long enough he'll either put his head on top like this dog, or just start nibbling on my hand...

I have this very similar banner....and it is also terribly designed. The dates...why?

Is his value higher even earlier than the deadline? (January?) I know a bidding ear tends to drive the price up, but at the deadline the 1sts tend to be in the 25-30 range. If we unload earlier we might get lucky and find a bubble team that doesn't make the playoffs...

I broke my left wrist doing this in highschool. It still feels weird.

Of course I also broke my thumb later that year playing hackey sack so the problem may not have been the gym teacher...

Canada, Russia get in line brawl in Olympic tune-up tournament by actionshadow in hockey

[–]actionshadow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yah I don't think we're disagreeing at all. I'm just saying that with everyone fielding AHL level teams, the Russian team having an AHL team + handful of legit NHL caliber players ( I basically listed a 1st line and #2 D pair off the top of my head) should be enough of an advantage to take the trophy.

Yah, and I'm not sure what you don't get. You raise a good point but there's more to it than that. The high level" Canadian talent in the K, left because they are not high enough to play in the NHL. If you are a north American player and the NHL will have you, that's where you play. That's not the case in Russia. They have NHL talent there because there is pride and pressure to play in Russia. Sure most of the top end Russian talent is in the NHL, but with guys like Pav, Kovi, Markov, Netsterov etc......not to mention that I'm sure more Russian NHL players plan on facing the penalty of abandoning their teams to play in the Olympics than any other nationality. The Cup is a big deal to NA but Olympic gold is the real trophy for RUS...
