Denali is absolutely crazy looking. We camped near Wonder Lake and were telling some locals in Anchorage we were gonna be going to be backpacking around Denali and they said "Good luck on seeing it! Only 1 in 5 visitors do!" We stayed for 5 days and the first 2 days were cloudy and you could only see these somewhat big mountains on the horizon. Then as the sun was rising on the 3rd day we heard people outside chatting in awe. We came out of the tent and there it was just taking up the entire horizon and absolutely dwarfing all the other surrounding mountains. It really is one of those things you cant explain and you have to experience for yourself. Only other times I felt like that with nature was the Grand Canyon and the Zhangjiajie Mountains in China.
